Welcome to the ULTIMATE Fist of Guthix Guide by yours truly.

The following topics will be mentioned:

  • Reaching your opponent the quickest possible way
  • What gear is best suited for FoG
  • Strategies for winning by a landslide
  • How to last the longest in Prey Status
  • How to KO quickly in Hunter Status
  • Finding a running opponent

Reaching Your Opponent ASAP
When you're in Hunter Status, your goal is to find your prey as soon as possible. Usually, in Fist of Guthix, your opponent is directly across from you. (if you spawned North, they spawned South)

What's the Best Gear?
The best suitable gear for Fist of Guthix is the Ranged/Melee style. Using any sort of shortbow (I recommend just maple rather than gravite) and a Rapier and/or G2H can provide you with quick KOs and get you tokens quickly! Here's a picture:

Strategies for Winning by a Landslide
The Ranged/Melee style provides you the quickest KO possible with ease; barely any switching, quick and powerful hits, and gives you the protection you need without adding too much weight.
If Prey:

  • Grab your stone and run to the middle quickly (if prey for second round, use your Teleport Orb)
  • Have your Prayer Tab open and look at your opponent's gear to determine what to pray
  • Use low level prayers (5-10%) and protection prayers if they use low level magics to conserve prayer (if you have under 80 prayer)
  • Use your F Keys for Prayer Switching and Bandages

If Hunter:

  • Run directly to the opposite side of the arena as quick as you can (use Teleport Orb if round 2)
  • Make sure to start with Ranged and follow up with Melee
  • Constantly buffer your Ranged or Melee for max KO power and use F Keys for prayer switching

How to Last the Longest in Prey Status
Your goal is to remain alive as long as possible. Here's how you do it [in pictures]:

How to KO Quick in the Hunter Status
Your goal is to KO your opponent quickly, so that they do not gain charges. Here's how you do it [in pictures]:

    Finding a Running Opponent
I hate runners so much, but here's how you tackle them:

You run, or Teleport, to the middle, depending if it's round 1 or 2, and quickly check to see if your opponent is on the other side of the arena. If not, try moving to either side of the arena to see if they are on that side. If they aren't on the side you chose to look at, run to the middle and recharge your Run to about 80% and dash to your initial spawn point.

I hope this Guide works out for you guys. Fist of Guthix rewards are worth the trouble and will excel your clan/team to the next level. Try out my Guide today and start winning Fist of Guthix 95% of the time, like me.

Just a quick tip, wherever you spawn, your opponent is always going to be at the opposite point. Say you spawn north, they're going to be south. Personally, I run all the way to see if they're still getting their stone or is AFK. If they're still there then just attack them. Even if they tele to middle, 99.9% of the time they will have auto retaliate on and just run back to you. Great guide

just use the teleport stone and run to ur opposite spawn .

swanky boots only gives +1 to mage bonus , better fancy/fighter boots
use bow sighted when u left center and shortbow to center

Good ideas! I should add them into the guide. I like the LBS idea when you exit middle, thought it was not needed at first. And for dung, I just like to intimidate the little kiddies :3

i still dont get why do ppl bring rune, if ppl run around and house hug ur weight will decrease your run energy by so much, they can just house hug for life and win easily. Well im talking about if you face a fog pro's like me, i dont bring any rune nor d hide, just rune crafting robes for being light and the mage bonus, also just with a shortbow and a gravite rapier

Well I personally range at fog, so it only makes sense to bring d hide

Plus, I bring rune in case the person you're against is ranging or meleeing, and if they're maging use the d hide. More likely than not they'll be 70- so it shouldn't be hard anyway.

Nice guide. Most of the time, you don't need to do any tanking, as most people are level 30 lol
