» Adamantine - Region of Minerals

• Beryl Docks
Beryl docks is the gateway into Adamantine for many people who are looking to either vacation or settle. For whatever reason it is, the southern docks are filled with smaller boats and their fisherman, while the northern half is reserved for glorious yachts and luxury liners. Pokémon battles are generally discouraged on the docks considering the docks are a major landing point between trade routes, though it's not uncommon to find fisherman battling between boats over fishing space. Trainers can find an assortment of water Pokémon here, provided that they use the right equipment.

• Metallic Town
A modest urban neighborhood that is populated with a variety of income classes and lifestyles. Though not overly crowded, this is typically a busy town during the days just like any other urban community. There's definitely a pleasant balance of scenery while some of the more private neighborhoods have their own woodland backyard that help divide the town in sections. More often than not, many aspiring trainers (typically younger school kids) take advantage of the environment to capture and train their Pokémon.

• Pitchy Village
Doting on the imagery that refers this rural area as a village often leads imaginations astray that Pitchy Village is some sort of isolated and runned down village. In fact, Pitchy Village is located on a flat plain and modernization has been so far kept up with. The village has a Victorian feel to its structure, suggesting that this small town has quite a bit of history behind it. Cobblestone streets are kept clean by the hard working citizens while most of the small buildings are family sized stone structures. Many kinds of breeders and farmers come from this village therefore not all types of technology are supported here.

• Vitreous City
Vitreous City is another one of those cities that's considered "the city that never sleeps." State of the art technology light up the streets during the times that the sun is not out while busy bees, business men, and wealthy individuals with high class pedigree rule the streets during the day. Of course, those looking to risk everything to make it big flock here and the shopping districts are luxurious with many individual stores looking to seek your attention with their window displays. Despite some of the scenic tourist attractions where you can see many different areas atop the tallest skyscraper, trees and shrubbery are of simple decoration. As a very technologicallyadvanced city, many people prefer to discard the old lifestyle of back breaking work for a modernly convenient lifestyle that includes almost too much freedom. Considering the population is beginning to over grow its limit, many people are beginning to live in stacked condominiums that are many stories high. A notable place of interest is the Battle Tower which is always publicized.

» Adamantine - Surrounding Wilderness

• Amethyst Forest
Taking into good consideration that Amethyst Forest was once a much larger area, deforestation has left it with only a third of its original habitat. However this forest is still an incredibly large and abundant area for many hikers to enjoy. Gem Campsites are scattered along where the heaviest traffic is and provide campers safety and shelter. During the rainy seasons, the southern portion of the forest overwhelms the swamplands and becomes incredibly muggy. Wild Pokémon are typically not bothered by human trafficking, though their temperaments are known to get violent when their personal space is invaded.

• Chromatic National Park
Being another one of those geographical mysteries, Chromatic National Park is a well known national attraction for its unique terrain. Towering crystal shafts and crystal shrubs replace traditional woody plants while a mysterious mineral found in the soil turns a light layer of grass blue. During the day, people are mesmerized by its beauty, but scheduled camp tours show off these crystal beauties after sundown when they begin to glow in the dark. It is also said that this protected reserve is home to a family of onix whom have adopted uniquely to the terrain, becoming the symbol of the park. Entering the park comes free of charge provided that you are touring, however you must pay a fee in order to capture the Pokémon here.

• Emerald Swamp
This area is dominated by woody plants and cannot be considered a shrub or forested swamp because of the delicate balance. The highly nutrient swamp is home to many kind of Pokémon that depend on its ecosystem. Hot, humid, and absolutely muddy during most parts of the seasons, Emerald Swamp is a mystery to geologists because it does not freeze during the winter season. In fact, for whatever reason there may be, the swamp has some sort of heating system in which most Pokémon seem to use to their advantage to keep warm from the polar winds. Trainers should beware that the Pokémon located here are higher leveled than the Pokémon found up north, considering this is one of the many training grounds that surround the Obsidian League.

• Garnet Hills
Though not protected by the wild life reserve, Garnet Hills is the entryway into the national park which also houses the training ground for Pokémon Rangers. Standing on top of one of these hills provides a serene overview of the surrounding areas however they are a pain to hike by foot. There's few roads that have been flattened and paved, some of which are dead ends while there's only one winding road that takes a traveler directly back and forth between Metallic Town and the national park. It's not uncommon to sight see small farms between hills, herds of Pokémon, or a thicket of grass home to many hiding Pokémon.

• Gem Campsites
Founded by renowned hiker Guy Rockerfeller, the gem campsites scattered throughout Adamantine are lodges for those pesky tourists and native trainers. Each campsite complex provides a small Pokémon Center, PokéMart, a mediocre amount of rental cabins and a large area of protected camp space. Guy Rockerfeller is known for popping in and out of each of his nine camping grounds (turned into a profitable business) while his wife, Gem Rockerfeller, sometimes goes looking for a fight from traveling trainers to pass the time. Although the cabins aren't luxurious suites, each of them are completely fitted with a queen sized bed, futon couch, a small counter top with a microwave and plenty of electrical outlets, as well as a full bathrooms. Wild Pokémon cannot be found in this location.

• Mineral Mines
Documents of old exploration of this land suggested that these mineral filled caverns was one of the first things to be exploited just before Adamantine was established. Since then, the people of Metallic Town have guarded this land for hundreds of years while taking advantage of the benefit that the mineral rich mines hold. It was because of these mines that the land and its territories have inherited names referring to different crystals. However in the coming modern times, the mines have been abandoned due to the dangerous bowing support beams inside the webbing caverns. This vulnerability left an opening for dangerous nocturnal Pokémon to move in and any brave soul venturing these old abandoned mines should be aware of serious consequences when looking to pass the time.

• Mt. Ashland
Having been divided apart from each other, both the north and southern mountain ranges are together known as Mt. Ashland. While the northern range is effected by typical seasonal weather, the southern portion of Mt. Ashland is known for its collection of tunnels known as Victory Road. In the middle of one of the canyons, the Obsidian League can be found while traveling further east reveals that this portion of the mountain is actually a dormant volcano. Geysers can be found scattered throughout the south while a small lava pit is over shadowed by the towering Pokémon League, creating a difference in Pokémon variety.

• Mystic Lake
Mystic Lake, named after a particular type of quartz, is known for its clear water and great variety of Pokémon. The lake is under protection by the same wild life preserve that also preserves and maintains the national park, which can be seen from the southern portions of the lake. There is a no tolerance policy towards polluters and Pokémon Rangers have the authority to arrest, deport, and ban citizens that do not abide by the laws in which protect these national treasures. A famous camping story depicts a hungry river monster whose stomach growl can be heard occassional during the middle of the night, especially when it has the scent of a woman that it wishes to be sacrificed.
