Recently I decided to start listening to podcasts while I work on the hobby, unfortunately I've ended up running short on shows. I can always listen to Pandora, but I'd really rather soak up some more hobby while I hobby, so I can hobby while I hobby.

So, I'm asking you guys: What podcasts do you like? I'm specifically interested in Fantasy, so keep that in mind please.

I am a big podcast fan while I paint and sit in traffic. I tend towards guys who talk tournament warhammer and are willing to share some of there drunken exploits. Some will drop F bombs, others are more family friendly, so you will need to determine if that bothers you.

Pointhammered: Johnny and Roge are funny, great painters, and avid tourney players in the upper mid west. It is a never miss podcast for me.

Skull bros Awesome: Ok, I admit to having a man crush on these guys. Again, tourney players from the midwest. Wide range of perspective, hobbyist, generalship and just damn fun. COTEC's Nabrolean is on this podcast.

Dwellers Below: Australian podcast. I so want to take a vacation to to Australia and play in a tournament with these guys, not to mention sing Karoke with them as well.

The Watch Tower: No, not a a Jehovah Witness podcast. This is another Australian podcast. They are a bit more serious then the Dwellers crew but that does not make them any less awesome. Their perspectives are well worth the listen.

Heelen Hammer: Probably the smoothest (most professional) of all the podcasts I have listened to. This one is focused on the English scene. I may play in the USA but I probably learn more about the game from this podcast then the others (US is tops for other aspects of the hobby IMO).

West Coast Hammetime: This podcast focus's on the West Coast of the US scene. They are another one that trends towards the professionalism side. Fred's voice was made for NPR. They once had a certain COTEC member who's name starts with HIN and ends in GE as a guest. Don't hold that against them. Though it was there most commented on episode :P Just saying..... It has been a month since there last podcast, just saying....

Rage Quit Podcasting. A new and upcoming podcast also focusing on the West Coast and Texas tourney scenes as well as much metal music  . The three hosts are all awesome hobbyists with multiple paint and sports awards winners. Unfortunately they have decided to add a fourth host which I predict will be lead to the downfall of this podcast. I hear they are taping tomorrow, so if you want to get a PTI question in, do it fast. Not that I have anything to do with this podacast. No, no, nothing of the sort. Ignore my signature down below. In fact, forget that I mentioned this podcast.

With the exception of the last suggestion, these are the podcasts that I catch every episode of and enjoy immensely. There are many more good ones (Garage Hammer, Can Hammer, ChumpHammer, Black Sun) but I tend to pop in and out of them depending on subject and time.

Oh, there is a rumor that the valiant heroes of the West Coast podcasts (both West Coast Hammertime and Rage Quit) will be traveling to the desolate, frozen, and hellish tundra of the midwest to attend the Pointhammerd tournament (what type of people live there?, good god!) and where they expect to meet the evil Skull Bros Awesome in mortal combat, feats of strength, beer guzzling, and hot tubing. This is to take place in late January. Yes, late January in Wisconsin. Does anything survive up there then?

I suggest tuning in to the mid west and west coast podcasts in February to find out:

A. Could the West Coast Heroes survive this frozen hell.
B. Who came out on top and who is lying about coming out on top.

Garage Hammer! Best Damn Pod Cast out there!

Available for free on iTunes. 2 Shows a month, Fun, informative, not overly tournament heavy but they do go to Tournaments and have a pretty good time. They do random contests, have paint competitions, have some good Wit, AND seem to be down to earth guys. My Favorite Pod Cast and the only one whose forums I visit.

I also listen to Rage Quit, West Coast, and Dwellers but Garage Hammer is Hands down my Favorite. Give them a Listen, Totally Worth it!

Thanks guys, I've got all of those now. Tremendous, you're the one that started it for me honestly. I was curious because of the contest win with Garagehammer so I had to give them a listen, but I'm always looking for more since I blow through one podcast per day basically.

So far, I think Skull Bros is probably my favorite.

Garage hammer is one of my favorites, and I second the recommendations for point hammered and dwellers bellow. The black sun is a very off colored show from the uk, home of the legendary terror we call Ben Diesel. Noob hammer is alright, and,y friend cohosts there from time to time.

Skull Bros Awesome is indeed on iTunes, here's a link to their website.
http://www.skullbrosawesome.com/

I'm caught up on their show now, I've got one more episode to get completely caught up on them (it was great while I cleaned up the Bro Hole). Honestly, I wasn't sure I'd like them at first but as listened for a bit I realized they were the kinda guys I really enjoy having around, I'd be glad to drink or smoke with them, and I'd definitely be happy to throw dice with them. Though, I have a feeling Nabroleon would push my stink in if you know what I mean.

I really like Garagehammer too, I've been listening to them since Tremendous clued me into them. Which is really what got me started with Podcasts while I hobby, honestly I don't know why it never occured to me before.

I think the next one I catch up on will be Point Hammered, with all of the stuff I've got on the big erase board I should have plenty of time.

Thanks Khaas for their link. Listened to them today while trying out my airbrush and really started enjoying listening to them. At first I didn't think id like them either with how profanity laced it was, even though they try to be aware of it, its still pretty profound lol.

Will def be listen to them more!

They get a bonus for pronouncing Hinge's last name properly. I know I wouldn't have gotten it right.
