How to form core?; 1000k Hellstrider Army

Warrior of the Chamber
I want to run the below army which leaves me 265 to spend, 250 which must be spent on core. I am looking for an effective anvil to compliment the fast wing. I am playing against elves.

Hellstriders * 9
Lvl 2 Sorc on steed with Arcane Fam and the Ogre Blade
Chimera with Flaming Breath and Scaly Skin

Ideas appreciated.

I am looking at 10 warriors an two sets of dogs

What about Chariots and/or Marauder Horsemen? With the hellstriders being M10, I think I'd go with something that can kinda keep up

If you take warriors try to get 12 to go 6x2. I go very hitty with all units but here a few builds to consider.
Khorne extra Hand weapon. 6x2 Lots of attacks vs low T elves
Nurgle Halbreds 6x2 Hitty unit with -1 to hit so helps with anvil plus one to str to break armor and get more hits. Also can run Khorne here but obviously no -1 to hit
Those are the units I run in my army cept khorne is with Halbred.

Now other choices for more of anvil unit. These you could run 10 man unit. Id still try for 12 just to give you two more wounds to keep your rank with.
Tz marked with shield. Gives a 5+ ward save with 3+ AS
Nurgle with Shield 4+AS with 6+ ward (parry) and -1 to hit
Id choose Nurgle but im Bias, I cant bring myself to run Tz, even the Hortennse build.

I respectfully disagree. Although I personally run Warriors as my anvil, the OP's army list doesn't call for it. All of his hammers are fast moving. It would be pointless to have a slow anvil that isn't capable of keeping up.

He's better off using Slaanesh-marked Marauder horsemen (w/ flails / ranged weapons) and Warhounds to act as cheap screens to help absorb damage and provide hard cover.

His entire army, minus the Chimera, is capable of Vanguard movement as well. That can be very scary for virtually any opponent at that point level.
