Yeah I can because I have bought their first apoc warriors and the latest Dwarfs for a friend. The plastic isn't sub par as such but it is not on-sprue plastics like GW and it is more brittle. I do not like resin, restik, finecast, and metal so to me the material they are cast in suck. IMO. |

Thanks Shadowlord. Would you go as far as to say that AoW plastic is as bad as GW finecast? Or does it lie somewhere in between GW fincast and GW plastics? |

Thanks Khaas, I look forward to it. I've been thinking of picking a few models up from them as well, so I'd really love to know how good they are. |

IMO the plastic AoW use is better than finecast but inferior to real plastics (harder to work with for those of us who likes to convert). But there is no problem with the detail. |

I've got some of their dwarf berserkers, and have to disagree with Shadowlord. The plastic they are made from is just as good as GW plastic (and I'm a crazy converter, not a single piece went on a model without being chopped apart first). I know they produced at least one kit in a plastic-resin hybrid material...that might be the culprit? |

Perhaps all their new plastics will be of better quality from here on forward. I'm really curious about their new Dark Elves. Those sculpts look fantastic... Vestals of Nemesis ("Witch Elves") Black Shadow - two hand weapons Black Shadow - leaping |

Actually the sculpts are of good quality it is the plastic part that irks me. |

I hoping they have switched over to the better plastic that you mentioned they used for their Dwarf Bezerkers. Perhaps that is the new material they will be using from here on out. |

By the looks of it, AoW aren't doing sprue plastic because you are getting it in pieces. I bet resin like material. |

for big sophisticted kits gw has no competitor, they are the best without a doubt for regiment kits i much prefer nowadays avatar of war ones: much better price, much more assembling options and on par quality dont confue all resin regiments wiht the new aow plastic regiments. the new ones are pvc (it is plastic, not resin) have alot more pieces than the old resin ones, and there are no prodcution problems they are selling and shipping them in thousands just received my corrupters of the apocalypse plastics. i have posted the pics in their own thread link |

I like many of the AoW sculpts better, but as has been pointed out, their plastic is inferior, itīs something in between finecast & plastic & is quiet tough to clean from mouldlines & cut in, also a lot is bent in weird shapes so you have to bend it back by using hot water. |
