I'm converting the rider from the khorne lord on juggernaut, and that includes de-khorning him to be more mark neutral. The only part that's really any kind of headache is the shield, and there's a lot of khorne logo on that. Normally, there's lots of shields you could swap out, but this khorne lord is a lefty, so holds his shield in his right arm. As I have the metal model, I don't really feel like dremmeling the icon off. I see that Crom has a right handed shield, but I'm just wondering if there's any other options. |

well it depends if you will be able to actually see the hand inside the shield but what I did to be able to use the Knights shields is. take a CW shield and cut the shield away around the hand. Now cut off excess shield and sand with a file as required. Now take the left over hand and attach it to whatever new shield you like. Other thought would be take a weapon hand and cut the weapon off and cut the pivot point off the shield and attach that with some GS help. And this would look better if you need to see the inside of the shield. |

Doesn't the Warrior kit come with some shields that don't have the hand molded on them? You could just slap one of those one, but they aren't very detailed. |

Warriors command sprue has one shield with no arm attached. Knights sprues have a few of them, better options by the way. But you will need to find a right arm that fits the body you have; don't think it will be difficult though.

Maybe you can add a layer of greenstuff on to of the shield face to mask the icons rather than trying to remove them. |

Many a time I have worked a cattle chute doing de-horning and castration. Why did this post make me think of those experiences? Poor Khorne Lord. Doesn't know what the dark god of the painting table has in store for him. |

You could just replace both his arms. I used the extra arms from the Lord on Manticore kit. Works perfectly with a kneadatite elbow installed and one pin. |
