Hey all, me again :), I have a question for anyone that can answer it. Does anyone have any hints, tips, experience, tutorials on how to paint/make a frozen wastes/tundra base for 25mm square bases? thanks, much appreciated :) Edited by Ninjagosplat, Feb 16 2014, 04:04 AM.

I mix bicarb soda, pva glue, a little water, a little green clumpy flock and white paint. I mix it all up and apply 1 real thick coat. Not very neat but it works and is easily the fastest method i have ever seen. When you apply matt varnish over the whole model it all just sticks. |

One suggestion is if making frozen wastes don't use green flock/grass.'..it should be dead so Browns......."looks outside" yup brown. I'm gonna use gravel colored black highlighted with grays, snow flock with pva, and static grass tuffs. Edited by Dawink, Feb 16 2014, 04:37 PM.

I use, sand an glue with a scorched brown base coat, with badab black for shade. I then drybrush snakebite leather, and bleached bone and add some terrain snow. It does tend to make it look a bit frosty instead of snow but I like it. |
