Looking to start basing the models, going for barren waste land with some snow and a little bit of vegetation. Wanting to know everyone's overall opinion on which is better for bases. I have a crap ton of flock that I use for terrain building but am not opposed to buying some grass. Thanks ahead of time. |

I used a combo of both. Mixed em in a bag then applied. And used the occasional grass tuft and snow. Looks something like this |

I use winter tuft http://totalwargamer.co.uk/images/detailed/3/battlefields-xp-winter-tuft.jpg Also you can make your own tuft of cheap wall painting brush like this one: http://m4.sourcingmap.com/photo_new/20121017/g/ux_a12101700ux0287_ux_g03.jpg Hope it helps. :) |
