I'd like to build a DP based on this Warhammer Online concept by Adrian Smith, as I like it much better than other Nurgle DPs I've seen: http://s.cghub.com/files/Image/008001-009000/8187/697_max.jpg Most people try to get away with GSing a huge gut, often ruptured, and clusters of boils all around the body. Often, it comes away looking like a nasty blob of poorly-sculpted GS. I think too many people overdo it in attempt to be Nurgly-enough. A. Smith's concept doesn't try to outdo itself but spreads the mutations pretty evenly around - bestial legs, a rather ambiguous tentacle organ, a few pustules (but not overboard), Unclean One-like antlers, discolored skin, wide girth, etc. It's all very Nurgly, but it's balanced and tasteful. That said, what bits would you recommend in order to replicate this DP? The legs and arms can come from the standard DP model. I suppose the torso could too, with some GS to make it less muscularly toned. I don't have a lot of GS experience, but I don't feel too unnerved. |

^ was my first thought too, but also vargheist legs on the ogre torso. ogre mournfang cavalry great weapon arms. crypt horror head with some gs work. could be done for sure, but its gonna need a rag tag of bits lol, I'm almost tempted to try my hand at it lol |

But would't ogre-sized DP be too small...? |

How big do you want him? I used the giant for the start to my DP. Was going for something really big. Also used a Minotaur body for another. |

Not too big, but still imposing. I think an Ogre body should do for the upper torso girth. I want to be able to fit him on the normal DP-sized base, since that feels proper. Another thought I had was just to use the Be'lakor model, since the legs are right, and throw on GS to the torso. The pose doesn't need to match; I'd prefer it didn't actually, just to give it a little originality. |
