So, I am aabout to finish up a Juggernaut for a unit of Skullcrushers, and I find myself with a slight dilemma. I want to use Blood for the Blood God, and it dries with a gloss finish. However, I use matte varnish on all my miniatures, and I am pretty sure this will dull it down. So, I am thinking I will use it after the varnish. Here is my question. Does anyone know if this paint will be safe from chipping after it is applied? Or would it be recommended to maybe mix it with a bit of 'Ardcoat to keep the gloss and add a bit of varnish/sealant to it? |

It won't chip. It is flexible and would peel off before chipping. Check out my Banner of Rage, I made it out of a product called Realistic water and then coated it in BftBG. I can bend it in any direction and it won't split or peel off. Posted Image I've been told that mixing 'Ardcoat with anything is a bad idea because they will dry at different rates. I could be wrong though. |

Lawl, fruit roll up banner. +1 for that. I'm kinda thinking that Nurgle's Rot is similar but I haven't tested it out yet, I've got a Nurgle banner in the making with the same core concept so I'll put pics up on my Plog when I get around to it. |
