Hey guys. I am completly new to painting warriors of chaos. I like the nurgle fluff so I decided to use a rusty greenish colourscheme, but I just feel like it needs more nurgle stuff.. however I need some inspiration as my own imagination is giving me nothing to work with. Hope you can help. Take a look and tell me what you think. |

It looks good! My first chaos army was Nurgle, its easy to make it look good as long as you don't overdo it. I think your metals could benefit from a few spots of agrax earthshade, mainly in the creases, but also you could just splotch some on it random spots to add some dirtyness to it. Also, the verdigris is nice, but I would like to see a little more. Other than that tho, its all looking good, better than my first painted nurgle stuff, although I started to get the hang of it lol |

I see your point. It is a little "to" clean. But i am also afraid to overdo it. |

Then don't, it doesn't NEED it, it already looks awesome :) if youre not comfortable doing it then dont do it I think it's still a really good Nurgle paintjob! |

I think it looks good. Was this airbrush or brush work? I was admiring the bottom of the chariot where the horn meets and how the rust//dirt look is there. Then the actually metal above it and how it looks bumpy looks great. really like it. |

I dry brushed the model in three different layers. brown base all over. Then GW's rysa rust, then necron compound and then nurgling green. I think the bottom of the wagon was just dumb luck.. :) used the effect paint typhus corrosion, witch gives it a dirty/rusty/Oily look, but i overdid it and had to do the drybrushing again, and then it turned out like this. thanks for the quick replies, and the very kind words. Always nice with soe useful feedback. :) Edited by Wchumor, May 14 2014, 02:54 PM.
