Hi all. Just wondering would it be a problem if i painted my whole army classic black armour and mabey represent the differnt marks with banners? Would you have a issue with this or come across people who wouldnt be happy with it?

I would have no issues with it.

A lot of people paint their rmy quite neutral for various reasons (could be Money, could be astetic, since a unified army in the same scheme usually looks better) & then let banners & small details show what alignment each unit/character has. I doubt anyone would have issues with this, just be clear Before the game starts what mark & Equipment each unit has.

Most important thing is that your opponent knows what unit is what. Banner is a good option. You can magnatise the banner so you can swap in whatever gods banner you feel like on the day. Just remember if you paint Tzeentch guys red and Nurgle guys pink there may be a dispute so again just clarify it with your opponent. I guess the real most important thing is that you are happy with your army. Flexibility is quite important so i can see this as being a good way to make them any mark you feel like.

Like Vantraxx said, paint them for your own sake, you have to look at them the most ;)

If you ever mark them in a way that might cause confusion, just remind your opponent regularly what mark your units have.

Officially, mark and colour has nothing rules-wise to do with each other, so your opponent can't complain about you breaking any rules ;)

Ill stick to what I want to do then and just interchange the banners. Cheers.
