I would love to try a choas lord on chaos dragon build..
My problem is ofc. that we dont have any 2 headed dragon figure (i know we have galruach, but its to expencive, its metal, and quite ugly imo.)
So does anyone have some ideas on how to make my own 2 headed monster? i was thinking of the chimera, but i dont know?
Any ideas or inputs would be appretiated

cheers

There is a very splendid (IMHO) chaos dragon from Forgeworld, but it is a bit pricey (it is GW + FW after all)!

Not to mention the model is much larger than the normal scale for our miniatures. Your best bit is to create one. I have seen good kitbashes of the High Elf kit. For my chaos looking beastie, I went a different route :-p

The dark elf one is perfect for it- it is already evil looking, and comes with two distinct heads and iirc two necks. Just greenstuff both of them on at different angles, and voila. There are some great conversions if you google it ;)

I used the zombie lord on dragon kit. 2 heads, 2 necks, and decaying which is great as I play mono Nurgle.

I'm actually thinking about using the carmine dragon, either bits order a plastic head or cut the head in half and go crazy with greenstuff.

I used the DE Black Dragon and GS the necks, I'll try and post a pic of it tomorrow. It turned out quite nicely, but I still have some converting to do with the neck itself. I think I'm going to put tentacles and a mouth on it to make it more Chaosy.

Am i right in thinking that Nazgul would fit the role? (and are the models in the above picture?)

For the "split head" thing, you can mix it up with some split heads, different heads, greenstuffed maw on the side of the neck...etc.

Use the spawn kit for extra gribblyness!

Ah, yeah that does look more like the Nazgul model. Either way, very nice!

This guy is great, you don't even have to repaint him if you don't want to:

Yes I do own it but have not got around to putting a lord on it then basing it properly. I love the model and for the price you can't go wrong! My only complaint is that I wish the wings were a little more spread out but maybe I will order the terrorgheist wings or something...
