Sorc Lord – Level 4, MoN, Palanquin, Third Eye, Regen item, Dragon Helm. I am modelling this guy with 4 25mm bases, then a 40mm with Nurglings with Grima as the Mage Hero – BSB, MoTz, Shield, Banner of Fortitude Hero – MoKh, Juggernaut, Halberd, Helm of Many Eyes, 5+ Ward 35 Marauders – MoTz, Shields, FC (Sorc and BSB here) 14 Marauders – MoKh, Flails, Music, SBearer 15 Warriors – MoKh, Halberds, Music, SBearer 5 Marauder Horse – MoSl, Javelins, Spears, Music 5 Marauder Horse – MoKh, Flails, LA, Music, SBearer 5 Warhounds 12 Chaos Dwarf Infernal Guard – Fireglaives, Music, SBearer, Banner of Eternal Flame 4 Chaos Trolls Giant – MoSl Spawn Sort of MSU. Lots of elements to utilise in different ways. The Infernal Guard are the ultimate unit to put the Flaming Banner on as they should be able to take the odd wound off at ranged before bringing the pain in melee. Perhaps the unit needs to be bigger, but in a friendly environment using a Forgeworld unit I didn’t want to take the Michael. |

whats the deal with the chaos dwarfs anyway? I have been seeing their stuff on forgeworld, books, and on the net. Are they just for looks because it would be pretty neat if they had their own rule set. |

On the ForgeWorld site there are rules for using them. I think they are very kool and make for an interesting alternative to Warriors, swapping Marks and I for utility in the form of shooting. |

Multiple Small Units. It's a style of army which mostly uses units of 10-20 guys instead of big hordes of guys, and relies on combo-charges and positioning advantage to do its damage. Some folks here use it with good success, given how powerful an individual Chaos Warrior is. Personally, I like having one big Horde of Marauders, and some medium units of Warriors (18-20).
