OK so I have a tournament coming up and I have been painting my face off. This is about 3 weeks of work I have bad arthritis so this is as good as it gets for me. All of these models are primed in white and have been washed and dry-brushed. I'm still not completely finished. Hope you like them.

The crystals on the base are a glass I found in a crafting store. I wanted them to look like shards of Warpstone. On my other models I have glowing effects coming up from the Warpstone. I'll post those soonish.

These guys still need their weapons and bases painted. I will be adding Static Grass and some gold on the details, shields, ect.

This is my first time with green stuff sculpting. The mount is a very old Dark pegasus. The riders legs and torso are Eldar. The sword arm is from a High Elf Mage.

Firstly a warning to anyone wishing to buy a Hellcannon. Wait till they Finecast them because the metal will be bent. I had to boil my cannon barrel to get it malleable enough to bend so that the two barrels would fit together. I called GW and they said they would replace it but I would likely just get another with the same issue and that I would have to pay shipping.

I have two units of these 18 strong. They haven't been sprayed with a matt finish yet. They are dipped.

Those are some really great pictures you posted; thank you for sharing them.

That is a very interesting paint scheme you used on your Hellcannon, I've never seen one painted like that. I think it looks really good. How did you achieve the beige colour on it?

I understand your pain assembling the hellcannon, I had the same issue. I had carefully force my two barrel components together in a vice clamp using epoxy.

The warpstone on your bases is a very nice touch.... looks great!

Thanks for you kind words. The hellcannon was primed white then the entire model was painted with Gryphon Sepia. After that I just dry brushed a bit of bleached bone. Most of the beige you see will be painted over. This is really just the beginning stages of the cannon. I'll post more when I get done. It's a nurgle cannon.

If you look at the Tzeentch disc lords staff the top a non metallic gold. I think I will be painting the Hellcannons wheels and other details similarly to that.

Great job, I really like that glowy green effect. The muted colours of the first Warrior unit are very cool. :)

Nice pics! Very effective glowing effect from the warp stone, best feature of the army imho :)

I agree theo on the muted color scheme, it does give it a certain look that works.

Keep up the good work!

Had a recent tournament so I needed to work on basing here are some of my improvements. Keep in mind these models are no where near finished.

So I made the Hellcannon base by glueing cork board too thick plasticard. It is 50mmx100mm.

My BsB, no where near completed. Heavily converted. The banner features some oop chaos spawn bits, ghoul bits, chaos hound bits as well and corpse cart bits. I did some green stuff work. The model himself is somewhat rare I am told.
