I know I'm kind of splitting hairs here, but I don't really see forsaken as a scout unit...forsaken as ambushers would be something more I'd see coming, and I'd actually like ambushers better (feel wise).

I like scouts, but I just couldn't see forsaken with the scout rule...maybe a new unit like "Marauder huntsmen" or something that get ranged and for extra points get scout or something like Cross said.

I just wish we had a range besides the Marauder horsemen...(I just ordered tamurkhan, having peeked at the rules for infernal guard. B) )

I actually think that the Shaggoths have a decent save as it. It's not excellent for the point total, but perhaps a purchaseable upgrade (10 points for chaos armor or something), and make them a PINCH cheaper. A ward save of somekind would be nice. A 5+or a 6+ "Lightning Shield" I guess.

Cheaper Dragon Ogres is something I definitely want...I'm always hesitant to field them, because of their price tag.

Also, after looking at the Daemon Bloodcrushers, how about Knights on Juggernauts? If they can do it, why not us? Let unmarked Knights be super cheap and ride chaos steeds, and then for a pretty penny Mark 'em and upgrade their mounts to Jugggers, Steeds of Slaanesh....Tzeentchy ponies? (Can't really see a cavalry line of disks...well maybe.)

I think it would be easier if the upgrade knights just rode daenomic steeds which then had a buff based on marks, that way they could release a kit that suits them all but doesn't stop you from converting your Khorne knights on to juggers

Yeah, if they're planning on releasing a Monstrous Cav kit, that would be the way to go. The conversion would also be pretty easy - get some Bloodcrushers, swap the Mount for the Jugger, done. Here's to hoping that those bases are 50mm square so that a character on a Jugger isn't hanging off the edge of the unit, though.

I would think that GW would release some sort of MC unit for WoC, if they don't then they simply will not sell the characters on daemonic mounts, currently they are barely usable and far from competitive, at the very least they need to tweak them so they don't use get cannons to the face every game.

Thinking about it logically they may just have standard daemonic steeds, no upgrades based on marks just to keep the unit simple, it wouldn't even need a new kit, the current knights would work fine just on larger bases. This is very much the same as the hero on daenomic steed works fine as a hero on a barded chaos steed.
