I'd like to see some opinions on who you think is a better Lord? Obviously Tzeentch is more defensive while Khorne is more offensive. |

I'd rather take a exalted hero of Tzeentch as its half the points of a chaos lord and can still have a 3+ wardsave. |

I know the arguments for the exalted instead of the Lord. I'd like to know what people think if the better Lord between marking it with Tzeentch and Khorne. It sounds like you pick Tzeentch. |

tzeench. the 3+ ward is gold. the disc is more mobile than the juggernaut. you still have enough points for a filthy weapon and some other cool stuff. and as small as the chance is with ld 9 you still have a chance of not restraining, you have to persue and over charge. it would suck if your 350+ lord shot off away from the rest of your army. there is also a chance you can loose combat. then your a beaten lord of.... nothing. cross |

Kinda thought the same thing. MoK never seems worth it on Lords unless it is for fluff reasons. It seems like you recommend mounting the Lord on a disk rather than having him on foot in a unit? |

Well I am a khorne player but MoT and its interactions with the common item wardsaves just make it so much better, all you really need is 4+ wardsave, MoT and a great weapon, keep him cheap and your good. |

If you were to kit him out completely using up his 100 magic points, what would you give him? |

Your kinda missing the point, because he is so expensive and has very good stats you don't need to give him 100pts of magical weapons, really how you equip him depends on the rest of you list and how you plan to use him in the list. If I was to use him in a unit of chaos knights then I would simply give him MoT, 4+ ward, dragon helm, great weapon and barded steed. in my Khorne list (which is a chaos host list) i use mine like this: Chaos lord Paragon (+1 wardsave) MoK jugger 4+ wardsave ogre blade charmed shield Edited by Kormak, Dec 2 2011, 10:03 PM.

its from the warhammer forge book of you want to use a mixed chaos list, basically its your general but he gets a buff for being the general (increases the wardsave by +1 or gives him a 5+ wardsave). |

Is that book allowed in regular play/ tournies? Or is it just a list for fun that need permission to be used, like the Storm of Chaos ones currently are. |

the mixed list is permission only, the chaos dwarf list depends on the tournie |

Juggernaut has some serious intimidation factor, but if you want to play hard, you go Tzeentch. |

Depends on your play style really. Tzeentch if you want to play the methodical waiting game. Khorne on a mount if you want to press the issue. I've played both type of armies both are fun. But with Khorne deployment is key, so keep that in mind. |

I think with the jugger its more rule of cool than anything, still with the warhammer forge list he gains the MoT free and of course doesn't need to carry a shield for a 1+ save so he can happily have a great weapon or halberd. |
