I think chaos lords can be quite good. But they have to be kitted to accomplish something troops cannot do. The jugger lord you posted originally does the same thing a mass of knights would do. |

If your Skaven friend is anything like a tourney player, he'll have ratdarts to drop and basically take over the deployment and get his units into what combats he wants...so I'd recommend at least 2 if not 3 warhound units to act as deployment drops and redirector/meatshields...since your Khorne marked army will HAVE to charge something if it is with in range...plopping your doggies down in front of them to stop them from charging is a must, or your entire army will be at his mercy and he'll be able to pick his fights and split your force. May try merging the 3 Khorne warrior units into 2 units and springing for a couple doggies :) |

actually I've been playing around with the idea of using my jugger lord alone without knights, with crimson armour of dargan, talisman of preservation, and a jugger and halberd. Bolt throwers and cannon only do one wound, and face a 4++, and normal shots face a 1+ followed by 4++, he takes a hell of a lot of beating, and hits with 6 S6, 2 jug attacks and one stomp. He can be played quite easily on his own....
