How are they marked/equipped? (both maruaders and warriors) Also a second unit depends on your priorities. I dont run marauders so I pretty much have to take 2 blocks. I run 20xMoT with shields and 20xMoN with halberds and banner of rage. |

i dunno what mark to give the warriors, was thinking MoT as i have modelled them with HW/S, marauders are modelled with the same, unsure on mark also for them, I'm really stuck lol |

MoT is great on warriors. The most common maruader build is greatweapons and mark of khorn |

True. The issue is you are lacking a hammer. The MoT warriors are an anvil. And the marauders are a tar pit nothing is killy. What other units do you intend to run? If you plan on taking a realy killy special choice you should be ok. |

knights, marauder horsemen, maybe trolls, but I'm guessing another unit of like 18 warriors is needed? |

Not needed, but if you can squeeze it in, why not? ;) Also consider a unit of chosen. And anything wich has a shield might as well take the MoT, including the marauders. :) Theo |

Chosen are fantastic if you take the proper build for them (Full Command, Champion has Favor of the Gods, Mark of Tzeentch, Standard-Bearer has the Wailing Banner), which gives you a very solid chance to get Divine Greatness, which means a unit-wide 3+ Ward save and Stubborn (aka damn near unkillable). Otherwise... overpriced. If you're not going to bring Marauders (which I don't recommend at all, but whatever), you definitely need to load up on Warriors. Model count is something you're going to struggle with, so the more bodies you can bring along, the better. If you are playing at higher points values, squeezing in another unit of Warriors definitely helps. I'd say you don't need one right at 2000, but you should definitely have one by 2500. Im not a fan but they are really good from what I understand. I just like having more variety on the feild. They ate just bigger scarier warriors which I think is boring. |

Make sure you are prepared to have your opponent's army book thrown at you if you use the build Rothgar posted. 3+ ward save and stubborn is enough to make most opponents hate you. To tone it down a bit, consider another mark. I usually use Nurgle and Great Weapons. They are a real beast in combat, usually have either +1 toughness or 4+ ward, but still have enough draw backs (striking last and 4+ armor), that your opponent isn't liable to start screaming about balance (I personally can't wait for a new book so they take that combo out...so once we stomp people again and again, as we so rightly we should, they can't blame it on that combo :-p. My friend is a dwarf player, and gunlines me to death, but then has the audacity to yell at me for using the tactic I just listed above :-p ) |

On topic, if you have one unit of Warriors with shields and Mark of Tzeentch, consider making the other Khorne with Halberds (shields optional for the extra protection against shooting). These guys put out an impressive number of attacks at str5. They are perfect for dispatching almost any core fodder troop, and quite a few elites as well. Add in magic banner to suit tastes/what you might be missing |

Baiting is not much of an issue if you place them front and center, and within the Leadership bubble. It's also why you bring stuff like units of Dogs - clear the chaff, run them into something, grind it down, rinse and repeat.
