Now, before I say anything, I know PERFECTLY WELL how absurd a 500 point Chaos Lord is. I also know I said slightly suicidal. This is the elitist army. If I have more then 50 models at the end, I shall be ashamed of myself. Well, anyway, here goes. Chaos Lord. 210. Mark of Tzeentch. 140. Disk of Tzeentch. 45. Staff of Change. 65. Gaze of the Gods. 30. Completely stupid points cost total: 490. Chaos Warriors. 16. 224. Shields. 16. Mark of Tzeentch. 20. Command. 30. Chosen. 96. Magic Banner: Blasted Banner. 50. Total: 436 Chaos Warriors. 16. 224. Shields. 16. Mark of Tzeentch. 20. Command. 30. Total: 290. x2. Chaos Knights. 6. 218. Command. 50. Chosen. 72. Total. 340. Chaos Chariot. 120. 5 Warhounds. 30. Total: 1996. Total Models: 59. NOOOO! I failed. More then 50 models. Still. Mainly, this is a pointless army for fun, to demonstrate putting all your eggs in one or two baskets. Veeeeery unreliable. Anyway, so far, the only tactics are this: Warhounds screen Chosen. Chariots and Knights flank. Nice tactics, if I do say so myself! Anyway, dont expect to win any games with this, but itll be fun. |

Why not add a Shaggoth to have even less troops :P (of course with Tzeentchian upgrade). Well good luck with the army since as you said it yourself, it won´t win many games (atleast not vs skilled players) |

if you're lucky you get to fight an opponent who thinks he can take your units one on one without flank charges etc :P I personally just love small hard hitting units  (then again i'm always called a powerplayer after i beat my opponent............) |

I dont add Beast units. Even in my insane phases I use Mortal Only. Warhounds are, too me, a unit that is both Beasts and Mortals. For Beasts, they are beasts, much like everything else in theyre army. For Mortals, I use them more as wolves. The pets of the charector. Anyway, this was just for fun. I wanted too see how many eggs I could fit in one basket. I could only fit 850, so I got another unit to put another 500 (I reneged on the Dragon for the Chaos Lord. Dont ask me why.) Anyway, skiulled players? Not a problem! Currently, I only play my two friends, who I have coaxed to join warhammer. Theyre both good for their newness, but theyre still not as good as me. Thats ok. Im constantly finding new ways to make myself worse. |

you can put Archie in it for less troops and you can go for a hugeeee knights unit with only a couple of mauraders to fill in the core need :P |

Can't get a Shaggoth with an upgrade in there, he is a lord choice. :P As for the army, I would not have several units of warriors, would take some fun stuff like horsemen and spawns instead. But as for the lord, its a bit hard not to have a Tzeentchian lord coming in around 450-500 p, mark of Tzeentch is so expencive. But he is worth it (my lord has actually not died in a single game... the rest of the army has now and then, but not him). I only have over 50 models because of my marauders. And skilled opponents are not a problem, you just have to be more skilled than they are! Although, with your list, you don't have many options. |

Im not skilled. Thats the problem. Most people I know take a Chaos Lord of Tzeentch with the bare minimum of magic, putting it at 350-400. and I wanna do Archaons horde, Chosen knights, Chosen Warriors, for core 3 units of 5 marauder horsemen, Chaos Lord on dragon... should soak up the points nicely. |

That's gonna be one fun army to play with, and also quite quick to paint and not hard on your carry case. If you look at the flipside of having so few troops, a refused flank deployment will be simple as you have so few troops so can repeat this tactic in any scenario. Also, being so few in number means that you can concentrate on them all and not loose your head at the insaine amount of models you have (expecially if you play night gobbos or those dirty skaven). Have a fun time. Happy gaming!!! |

the only thing you really have to do with this list is getting in it in close combat without too much casualties :P |

How about dropping a few Warriors off the Warrior Unit and make more Chsoen Knights? Very Suicidal and Dangerous. Very dangerous! I mean, 20 Chaos Knights is a nightmare, even when in units of five. Get more Knights! |

NEVERRRR! Anyway, this army is based on the basic things I get. I use a Limited Edition Archaon Model (notice the caps - hes important!) as an Undivided Lord. Basicly, he uses mostly black, with blue and pink/purple ornaments. So, hes completewly useless this army. Anyway, the point is, my aim is to get 4 Chaos Warrior boxed sets, as this gives me 3 units of 16, one chosen. I already have most of the knights. All's I gotta do is mount a Sorcerer of mine on a disc, and get some warhounds. and 2 knight blisters. But anyway, this army is also basicly, my dream army to get: its thge models I aim for (cept for the tzeentch lord). And Iv always found the big blocks of Chaos warriors do two things. They make my enemy overconfident, and they also tend to do more then my knights. There just theyre cuz I cant not take 6 strength 5 2 attacks each heavy flanker peoples. |
