Cromador's Saga

Here's my first attempt of a fictional story for warhammer; let me know what you think.

Unknown to many, Crom the Conqueror, before leaving with Archaon, had two bastard sons. The firstborn, Cromador and his blood brother Phaos.
Both sons at an early age were dismissed as Crom disappeared into the mountains with his conquering army. Thus they instinctively grew an independence and brother hood between one-another. It is unknown where they travelled for the next thirty years of their saga, some say they went further north, fighting off the unnameable creations of chaos, and others say they were seen south, fighting in the Storm of Chaos. Whatever happened to the brothers, thirty years onwards, they were at the head of a tough and brutal warband, Cromador, riding on top of a warped chaos steed and Phaos, carrying the warband’s personal banner, The Crusaders of the North.
They then went onto pillage and terrorise the north most territories of the empire, and were reportedly seen by Dwarfs and Elves a like. Thus, as the warband grew in fame, it swelled in size, from numbering only a couple hundred, to thousands of eager and loyal warriors. These were not just northern men either, Beastmen from the forests, ogres from their kingdoms and even chaos dwarfs all pledged allegiance to the brothers.
Soon the Chaos gods became very interested in the doing of the two and fought over ownership. In the end, both Cromador and Phaos were marked by none of the four gods, but by pure undivided itself. Cromador began to glow an unworldly glow, which singed any being that was too close to Cromador, including his dark steed, and so was forced to resign to leading his army on foot as his father before him. Phaos’s blessing seemed to be unnoticeable to the passing stranger, but on closer inspection, his body had been warped. The right arm he used to carry his banner to war had become disproportionate to the rest of his body, whilst his voice grew inhuman, as though it had been possessed. This was not the only noticeable change to Cromador and Phaos. Daemons appeared without warning throughout their warband, from all four gods. A taller figure drew in front of the blood brothers.
“I am Uzey’akor, patron of these Daemons”, said the large form,
“The Gods have taken a great interest in you and have sent me to you”
Cromador and Phaos, considered the daemon for a second, its presence testing the brothers hardened will and iron might. Cromador extended his had,
“If it is the gods will, then let it be”
The daemon and man shook one another’s hand, and then turned towards The Crusaders of the North, speaking with one voice.
“To the South!”
Now with Cromador the Crusader and Phaos the Vicious leading an all- conquering army like their father, with innumerable Daemons by their side, led by the Ancient Daemon Prince Uzey’akor, what hope is there for the free peoples of the warhammer world? Will the iron will of the Empire once again foil the Gods wishes?

I would like to read about a battle aswell, but it´s always a start. Altough I would´ve preferred if the brother´s weren´t Crom´s children...

@ Cromador: Good story! Do you plan to write something for the campaign?

@ snyggejygge: I didn't think it was a bad idea. The fact that they were abandoned and forgotten by him makes it fine.

Sounds intressting and I would to want to read a battle of some sort about them.

But very good anyway.

Thanks guys.

I do plan to write a battle, i just need to plan it out properly, i don't think battle writing is my kind of thing. I'll have to look at a couple of examples, then maybe place the battle in Lustria, when the Lustria campaign is going.

Thanks again,
Cromador
