Warrior of the Chamber
|
Asgor Jaghoof laughed harshly as his Chaos Dwarf kinsmen began to turn the tide against the host of spider-elves they were facing. His huge axe slashed left and right, creating a swirling vortex of steel that none could escape. He heard the ear-shattering blast of blunderbusses being fired as an entire regiment of the wicked elves were peppered by a hail of razor sharp shrapnel. Suddenly, a huge shape appeared in front of Asgor, so fast that it seemed to materialize from nowhere. It was an enormous monstrosity. The bottom half of the creature was that of a giant spider, black and spiny. The upper half was a female elf who's face contorted in rage as she leapt at Asgor. He barely had time to raise his axe in defense before she was on him, slahing at him with the curved daggers she held in each hand and ripping at his flesh with her powerful legs. After taking several wounds, Asgor finally managed to strike back, his axe cleaving through one of the she-bitch's arms. She cried out in pain but refused to cease her maddened assault on the bull centaur. His axe flew from his grasp, knocked away by one of the spider-elf's legs. Realizing that his life was in extreme peril, Asgor attempted a bold maneuver. He reached in through the whirlwind of flailing legs to grip the she-elf's face. Ignoring the grievous wounds being inflicted upon him, he began to press inwards on her eye sockets. The creature screamed as Asgor's thumbs began to rupture her eyes, in desperation she finally tore herself away from the mauled bull centaur. As she stumbled away, Asgor used this opportunity to turn about and slam the elf in the chest with both of his spikey, iron-shod hooves. The spider's screams of rage turned into blood choaked gurgles, her crushed lungs spelling out her doom; she slumped to the dry earth. Asgor roared in triumph and leapt upon the form of his fallen foe, trampling the body into a mass of blood and cracked carapace. As the red haze of blood lust left his vision. Asgor looked about to see the entire battlefield toally silent. Both armies had virtually stopped fighting to witness the battle between these two titans. The silence was suddenly shattered by the despairing moans of the elven army as the death of their leader dawned on them. Almost as one, they began to beat a hasty retreat, the triumphent Chaos Dwarfs chasing many of them down and utterly destroying them. Zinot, leader of Asgor's sneaky gits (hobgoblins adept at backstabbing, equipped with poisoned weapons for those who don't know) approached his general. "So, I guess we winz dis one eh boss?" He squeaked up at the massive bull centaur. Asgor, sides heaving with effort and dripping blood from dozens of wounds, gave voice to a thunderous laugh. "We only just landed and this is our reception? I think I'm going to have fun here. Hashut's fires will burn these islands to ash before I'm through!" As the rays of the sun began to give way to inky blackness, the Chaos Dwarfs of Clan Shadowflame began to make their way to the northern Tri-City of Levin. |

With this rate there will (hopefully :P ) not be any lagothians left for the campaign. Anyway an good and bloody story (just the way Khorne like it :D ). However there was one part that caught my eye of wondering
I don't want to say that it is impossible but I would imagine that dwarfs would have a hard time to outrun the elves and that the elves didn't make it away. |

Warrior of the Chamber

Well I kinda assumed that the leves were retreating in a rabble, running all over each other in their haste to escape. In the face of such panic, groups of Chaos Dwarfs could move in to intercept and destroy fleeing units........at least thats what I think...... p.s. Oh, and I won't be picking on the Lagothians too much. I'll mostly be writing stories about fighting Tzeentch from here on out. Time to show them what REAL fire looks like! *brushes off some ridiculous violet flames and marches off* |
