Insane until further notice.
Hispondular Rasgoth, Master of Mind-control, Grand Manipulator, and leader of House Endemir looked out from the top of the great temple Pyramid at the surrounding area. The large forest-enchanted by the priests to hide the structure. The defences built into the pyramid-giving off mind-control waves. No army could penetrate it without changing allegance... Even the animalswere allied with him.
the six spider-like legs sprouting from his back struck out at the air around him. on the tip of one appeared a speck of blood. As if some had evaported, and condensed onto that tip.
He did of course know that war was ravaging two of the cties outside the island-Levin and Equantis. He had sent his own left hand man-the high torturer Vrath the Despicable to the isle of Equantis, but had heard little of the war effort he was giving.
He heard the pad of light footsteps behind him. It was his right hand, the hooded Blackguard Shilea Thendrol. She was the best fighter they had, and fighters weren't common in Endemir.
"Sir, we have recieved news from te south-from Vrath,"she softly said
"What of him?"Hispondular asked sharply
"He is alive, and so is around half his army. But he is pinned-and without assistance the might of foul Khorne and he four powers undivided will overrun his position. we could lose our best torturers sir."
Hispondular gazed up a moment, before answering,"He has gotten out of worse. We cannot afford to give him support... However, I have a plan..."
"go on,"
"Shilea, go south. Send a messenger to Vrath to get his army to he coast. You will go with a fleet of ships and get him out of there. Understood?"
"Sir,"she said, bowing and leaving.
Hispondular looked around. All was silent-the way it normally was.sighing, he went down a large staircase to the bottom floor.

* * *

Vrath loked around. It had been a week since he had sent his messenger to Hispondular, requesting aid, and he had heard nothing. Everywhere he'd gone, Khornate warriors had followed. His whip had taste much blood, and his knife had seen the undoing of many champions.
But his army was not doing well.
The slaves had fallenlike flies, and Vrath was not pleased. He was currently aught between the devil and the deep blue sea-literally. A large Khornate force led by a huge bloodthirster aced him. The very sie of the hulking figre invoked terror in the usually calm elf. He had never seen a bloodthister before, but had heard many tales of them. In none of those tales had the bloodthirster died....

To be continued...

Sorry for sp, bad keyboard

Vrath held his whip close, and fingered his knife tip. That knife was primarily used for torture, but it had onced saved him from Slaithus, servant of the shadows. That man had stepped down, or so he had heard. Another-Sovran, had taken to lead the initial undivided forces.
A lagothian bedecked in long robes appeared out of no-where. Her robes stretched down to the floor, trailing after her, and the symbol of house Endemir-the eye with forked-lightning down the pupil was branded accross her forehead. It was the oracle of the house-now a slave of Hispondular's will. Her items had been stripped of her and handed over to shilea Thendrol. Thus was the cruelty of Hispondular Rasgoth...
"Shilea is on her way. She has brought enough boats for you, your torturers, and the majority of the slaves to return on. You should be home soon,"she stated.
"leave?"questioned Vrath in his cold, dark voice,"and abandone the war effort like those fools on Levin? Never..."
"It is for your safety, Vrath. Lord Rasgoth obviously wants you to live. I must deliver you-or rather, Shilea must bring you back to the pyramid."
"I must face this army here first. See that monstrosity there?"ASked Vrath, pointing at the bloodthirster," That is my nemesis. I made it my nemesis. It is my nemesis because I have seen it and haven't killed it yet. Thus I will kill it, and kill it brutally I shall."
"As you wish Vrath, as yu wish..."the oracle disappeared in a blinding light there andthen.
"bloody oracle... Why did Hispondular let him live?"Vrath muttered under his breath
"Because she is useful," said a voice behind him.
There was no-one behind him. For a brief moment, he though a man was there, dressed in white robes with a skeletal face, carrying a sword shaped like lightning, and a roughly-cut shield. Next to him stood an elf-despoiled...
Vrath blinked again. No-one was there...
Without wasting time, a large unit of horsemen was charging towards the slave army, wearing the colours of the blood god. Every inch of them was covered in red plate, bar the bottom legs of the horses.
"Kill them!!!!" Vrath shouted, charging forward.
The horsemen carved through the lines, taking no casualties, and sending elves flying. Only 8 riders were killing them...
The first one fell when a slave hit the horse from underneath, after diving under it. He had lost his life through it though... A lone torturer killed the next, jumping on the back of the musicians horse. He had kicked the rider of the front, his horse trampling him afterwards. Many more, including the standard bearer fell to bowfire. Vrath then took out the champion. He was the only one with a helmet...
Vrath whipped his horses bre leg, managing to curl his weapon around the horses limb, and pulling. The horse fell, but the champion came off alive.
"You will die! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!!" snarled the champion, lurching forward with his axe. The axe flicked out, and away went vrath's whip. Surprised at how powerful this meagre champion was, vrath threw his knife at his opponents face.
"Blood for Lagoth then..." he muttered, retrieving his weapons.
Whilst this was happening, the enemy army had snuck up on them. The bloody warriors drove through the slaves easily, and the bloodthirster threw enemies about mercilessly.
"Shit..."Vrath mumbled, drawing his whip.
He charged towards the lines. His whip lashed accross the helmetted face of a warrior, smashing metal innto the opponents face. He then proceded to stab another warrior, before sending another five flying with his whip.
The bloodthirster was the problem though. He had killed many troops, and had marked out a bloody hole iin his lines, threatening to hit him in the rear very soon.
"If I am to die, let it be against him..."
Vrath withdrew to the Bloodthirster's position. He was 5 times the size of Vrath, and carried a large axe-bigger than any Vrath had ever seen in his life. The axe was laden with blood-every inch of it. It wore shining black armour trimmed with gold. This didn't look like the sort to be trifled with...
Nevertheless, Vrath charged in, whip ready.
"DIE INFERNAL BEAST!!!!" he shrieked as his whip made contact with it's foot.
The bloodthirster moved it's foot in pain, then kicked back at the elf. The next thing Vrath knew, was that he was 20 metres from his enemy. He picked himself up and charged gain, aiming for the same foot. With a load crack, breaking the light barrier, the beast roared in pain. Vrath then stuck his knife through it's foot. No sooner had he withdrawn it, than the beast had picked him up, foot first. He was dangling above the battlefield, getting doizzy...
"How dare you trifle with the guardian of the blood god!!! Die impudent worm!!!" Cried the bloodthirster.
But suddenly, he was falling... Falling... There was know bloodthirster... And very few red-armoured men...
A shadow-man, much like Slaithus, his nemesis, was there, walking away with his guard.
"You can live this day pawn, you can live..."he coldly said as he walked away.
Those words haunted the Lagothian for thhe rest of that day...

Whoa, that was great! It was a good length, and easier to read when it was broken up like that. It was also a nice surprise to see my character have some presence in it. It shall be interesting to see how things work out.

Great work as always!
