No, because having chosen another Chaos God, then it shows their army has attitude. Chaos Undecided is just so boring. |

How is it boring when I get to use Slaanesh and Khorne, my 2 favourite gods, minions together, sure a completely converted nurgle army may be pretty interesting, but the mark of an army isn't the only interesting thing about it. I am making a backstory for a special breed of flayerkin, and does that have anything to do with the mark of my army? No. |

When it comes to Chaos Marks - I think Im forever cursed. Im constantly pleding my allegiance to every power at some point in time. However, the one thing that attracts me most is the conversion possibilities. I remember one time when I created a unit of Chaos warriors dedicated to Slaanesh. I drew out tatoos they would have and bought up all this neat stuff to convert the warriors. The end result was a Chaos warrior with the body of a Marauder - so as to cover it in tats and chains linking from there armour. I used the swords from the Dark Elf regiment kit for there cool looking Halberds, very elegant looking. While the helmets all had that single twirling curve, like that in the Hoardes of Chaos rulebook. I only ended up making one warrior - but what a warrior. I sold it on Ebay for like $40 - I was very proud! Then there was my Nurgle and Tzeentch days. But that is another story all together. Khorne usually came in the form of my Daemonic Legion - I found the thought of a Khorne Chariot pulled by two Juggers absolutley terrifying and awesomly cool - I built one too and the pics I uploaded ages ago! I couldnt now though, since my prefrences changed again and I coverted the two juggers into Bloodcrushers hehe. |

well when you consider khorne and slaanesh hate each other, thats almost like using orcs and dwarfs inthe same army. I never mix mark in my armies, at most i might use the odd undivided character in my khorne army buts thats more to represent a marauder chieftan than anything else. Bearer: i guess im lucky then, khorne has always been been my fav god (and that was even before i had read the rule book and knew what frenzy did in 4th ed). I do get bored every now and then using my khorne boys (but its rare!) I guess thats adavantage with chaos, if you get bored you ahve 3 books (atm) to give you ideas for a army, how many armies have that to offer! |

Well then, you should have seen my first Chaos army list when I saw the book: Lord Bloodthirster Core 20 Bloodletters 20 Bloodletters ... Basically, as many Bloodletters as would fill in 2k points. I never bought it though, as it amounted to over £300. |

I voted Khorne for the reasons snygge said, but I do however play Tzeentch. |

I want to use my Nurgle army as Tzeentch, so I think I'll change Mark one of these days for a little trial. |

The mark of nurgle on characters has proven itself to be very useful on many occasions. The lore is great and the fear comes in handy. w00t for Nurgle! |

LOL I think the vast majority of you hate my armies then. I use Khorne warriors (sometimes knights). atleast one slaanesh sorcerer & chosen slaanesh knights, and 2 Tzeentch chariots & screamers when the points allow. The rest is undivided usually a exalted on foot in a unit of marauders. :D Everything but Grampa Nurgle as although I think the Lore has definite possibilities I don't like the price of the mark for the effect. |

It shows how much power the lord/exhalted/sorcerer whatever has over the local warbands. |

Either that or it shows how much someone wants to win by allying the 2 most unlikely things, and then making up a story to make it work. |

Well in the military today we have a mix of religions muslims, jewish, catholic, protestant, christians, and wiccans. All of these have been known to throw a pretty wicked hissy fit about the others yet everyday the soldiers coexist. It all amounts to people coming together towards a common goal. |

Sorry if its a bit off topic, but just noticed how Tzeentch got no votes! Even when its generally the mark other players fear most! And GuCo, I bought a unit of warriors ages ago, painted them slaaneshi (for BoC) and then realised they didn't fit with the army. But with my new mortal horde, I just had to use as many warriors as I had, so yes that is sort of what happened. But it fits the fluff pretty well I think, plus its one of the main advantages of undivided armies so who wouldn't do this? |
