How does regen affect the pendant of slaanesh? If oyu loose a wound then regen do you still gain an attack? If not why? The pendants description says after saving throws etc, this sheds no light on to whether or not it affects regen as saving throws are before the wound is physically suffered, they prevent teh char from taking the wound where as regen gives the char the wound back. Thanks in advance. |

Though I'm in no way an expert (as you all know), I'd say: yes, if you suffer a wound, you gain the attack, if you afterwards succesfully regenerate the wound, then that's nice for you :D |

Taken from the online Q and A on the GW forums (for whatever that is worth!) Q: If a Slaanesh Lord has the Pendant of Slaanesh (any wounds taken give bonus attack to the Chaos Lord for the rest of the game) and the Crown of Everlasting Conquest (Regenerate), and the lord takes a wound that is then regenerated, does he gain an extra attack? A: Yes. So i would say you do gain the attacks. Depending on how restrictive your gaming group is with regard to using online errata though may effect this, i've seen groups that will only use published errata from a book like the Annual etc and i don't know if this has been included. See Ya Veln |

You gain the attacks, that is why the Crown is so much better than using the Blade of Blood & you still get protection! This might however change w. 7:th edition as apparently there are new rules for Regeneration (working more like a wardsave) |

so it will be something like take regeneration or a ward save  because in 40k, ward save is called invunerable save and you can either take invunerable save OR armour save, not both. that's one of the things that got me totally confused in fantasy, sa you take armour save, then ward save, then maybe even regenerate... |

I donīt think it will happen many times that you can take both anyway, but should it happen I think that you will still get to roll for both, but the problem that would arise is that you roll before you get wounded now, meaning that the combo wonīt work any more... |

Actually, I suspect that's exactly the way it was meant to be used, considering how obvious a combination it is. |
