Hi, I just read the topic about how to equip him the best (off-course this depends on wich role but I think it's the same ... war machines.. wizards.. small units...heroes?) So I thought about wich mark I have to give him to be the best..... but since my army is korne/undivided I was watching at the gifts. I have to gifts I want (soul hunger and might of korne) this works best for me... BUT then he has to have the mark of korne wich is great because of the extra attack from frenzy and extra dispel dice..... but he also suffers from frenzy!!! And that isn't something I like. So what do you think? is this good? I mean this way he has 5 Ws 7 strenght 6 attacks that re-roll mised hits firt round... nice isn't but also frenzy. So what is the best mark to give him? this combo and so frenzy? or better slaanesh for strike first e.t or perhaps another one? I want the combo to be as close to the one is just told. thanks jeroen |

Slannesh probabily makes for the best daemonic characters as the upgrade is relatively cheap but the benefits are substantial. Slannesh's Daemonic gifts are also extremely nice (my fave being the one that 1/2's enemy initiatve and weaponskill). |

^ what he said my friend and i have taken to making DP and ED able to take normal equipment and it adds an inmeasurable amount of fun to using them. we let teh LOrd character take 150 pts of arms and equipment and the hero take 100 and it's really awesome |

Yes slaanesh is fun .... so I get .. 4 Ws 7 Strenght 5 attack with re-roll in first round and always strike first... plus he can be a wizard. Or is the ignore armour blade better? So I get 4 Ws 7 strenght 5 attack with always strike first and ignore armour. thanks .... So mark of korne and slaanesh would be the best? (I'm looking at combat skills) jeroen |

mark of khorne is good only if you want your 20 inch flying move to charge every bait your opponent will set for it. |

Yeah, for an exalted daemon, khorne isn't really that great... actually it's probabily the worst overall. He can be baited to his instability death and he can't spellcast. The best is Slannesh, then probabily Nurgle(extra wounds is nice), then Undivided(Flaming Sword of Rhuin baby!), then Tzeentch (you can already be a spellcaster as an Exalted Daemon), and lastly Khorne. As for which is better, Soul Hunger or Blade of Ether, it really depends on how much cavalry the enemy is bringing to the party. If there are lots of knights then the blade, if mostly an infantry horde, than the hunger. |

Yes I know.... the combo I find perfect has the BIG disadvantage of being frenzy... WHY WHY??? :o So then slaanesh it is.... 4 Ws 7 strenght 5 attack with always strike first and re-rol to hit is nice I guess. I was thinking of using a lord but then he had to be the general and the whole idea is that the daemon is the ''hunter'' of the general (his ''pet'' and personal body guard) ... haha I just say van helsing again were the werewolves were the ''hunters'' of dracula, so I wanted something to come close to that. It has to be a cool model... fast..strong but not to strong... relieble.. fearsome e.t Adn every thing I just said is my korne daemon prince expect relieble because of that stupit frenzy. jeroen |

I actually like the Nurgle Daemon best, not because he can have some cool combo, but rather because he can vomit, which imo is awesome, an extra wound is a nice benefit as well. |
