Hiya all

here's the start of my army just wondering what everyone thinks any opinions are welcome as are any suggestions for the next set of additions:-

Exalted Sorcerer of Tzeentch on Disc

15 Marauders of Chaos shields, light armour, full command

3 Screamers of Tzeentch

my ideas for the next section is another regiment of marauders as above and a unit of 14 warriors of undivided led by an exalted champion of undivided who will be the Army General until it grows past 2000 points. then i think i'll add 2 units of marauder horsemen or maybe Chaos Knights.

A solid start, but you should think on increasing the unit later on instead of buying another unit.

So make the marauders into a bigger unit.....ok what size should i increase the unit too?

also are Chaos Knights worth taking?

just an addition really, i've added a unit of 20 beasts today in the form of 12 Gors and 8 Ungors along with the first 12 Warriors. So its a start will be making the marauders larger tomorrow when i get the next boxset and that'll see me off to a nice start i hope.

Chaos Knights are THE badguys of chaos, there is NOT A SINGLE UNIT that does NOT fear them. Theyre awsome, but expensive, but a unit of 6 knights of khorne, chosen will own a lot of things. On the marauders, they are good for creating ranks, so basically, 25 is a good number, but 20 is also alright if you cant spare the points. Warriors I like best deployed 6 wide, 2 rows. You can go for more, but the point cost quickly racks up.

Yeah 20-25 marauders are the best unit size.

Yes Chaos knights are worth taking I use 2 units myself in a normal 2000 points list.
