I hate that term cheesy, in my opinion there is no such thing as a cheesy army. I play to win and will design my list with that in mind. |

you could try, but I dont think it'd be a good list. Tzeench is just a character heavy army that relies on maigc a bit. You coul try going for 2 exalteds of Tzeench and then 2 Chariots of Tzeench and then fill the rest up. Also, Tzeech is my fav army too, but I dont think it's Cheezy TBH. If you look at it statically it loses a great deal of it's might due to the fact that Tzeench units lose their immunity to Psycho. |

It really depends on what you mean by cheesy.... but I assume you mean massed magic from your post? Recipe for "Non-Cheesy Tzeentch" Best way to keep from going character heavy is to just take a 2... maybe 3 Exalted Champions with minimal magical gear (though make sure to give your general some protection as he's worth bonus VPs). That should only run you up to 600pts at most, and 30% on characters is quite reasonable. For big units, use marauders over chaos warriors as they're cheaper and thus more numerous(about 25 including any Exalteds within is about right) and Tzeentch marked warriors aren't that great due to their loss of psyche resistance. Get a couple of chariots to support your infantry blocks, a unit of knights to be your hammer, and some furies and/or screamers to hunt war machines/mages and to mess with the enemies battle line and you're off to a good start. Sprinkle in support units such as horsemen, herds, and Minos. Stir for a few games until mixture seems right. Season to taste. Feeds 1-2 players. ^_^ |

Imo one should first & foremost play to have fun (unless it´s a tournament) & design the army so that it is fun for both players, while still being balanced & having a chance to win. |

I find players that hate the term cheesy are the players who get described using that adjective... |

That is typically correct.... No offence Dwarf. It does get very monotonous hearing people say "cheesy" every third word though, and I make very balanced lists (with skaven, so that means something), so I can't really be called cheesy (except for the fact that skaven armies are rats, and rats like cheese....) Back on to the topic of non-beardy tzeench; Basically, don't overdo it on the casters. for example, in 2k games, don't have like 20 power dice or you receive several swift kicks to the head. |

None taken, and I most defintly do play for fun first, however Im also competitive and allways do my best to win. Now mind you I onlyl play against one person and he is the same way. We are constantly trying to find a way to outdo eachother as some of my other posts have indicated. |

Playing like that can be fun as well, when I just began I only had 2 opponents & we played like that for almost 2 years, but when a few new players entered our group we realized it wasn´t as fun for them, so thereafter unless we´re playing tournaments or campaigns we try to have fun & balanced armies instead. |
