Rise from the Ashes
|
Non-Chaos HotW Members Do Not Read I believe the title says it all. As of now, there are Spoiler: click to toggle Chaos players for the Hour of the Wolf, most of whom are not from COTEC. And, to make matters (worse? interesting?), the main leader(s) have alrady been chosen, and [no telling who might be watching ~LB] is the only one we are all familiar with. Now, is this bad? Not necessarily. I just thought that we would want to show those Asur wannabes what real Chaos lords can do. ;) I understand that we are quite busy here, what with FoK and all. Hell, with finals going on, my time has been extremely limited as of late. But, we can always spare some effort to aid our brothers in Chaos, right? Even if we have lost the opportunity to be a major part of the Hordes of the Everchosen leadership, there is always the possibility of a COTEC Legion consisting of our hand-picked killers that will wreak havoc as needed. Note that this isn't a recruitment drive. In fact, I don't even think the 'Chaos' faction knows I exist, except for my small roll-call post. :P I just want to hear your opinions on the matter. |

I'm not sure I have the time to be as involved as I would like... as frankly I just have too much work, however I'll take a look. Really can't promise anything though. |

To be honest i donīt care about their campaign at all, they havenīt gotten out to any major sites & asked for players, nor does the background story seem interesting. But I would like to know who these Chaos players are, & why they were chosen for command when not coming from a major Chaos forum. & if they seems to be good enouugh i might join in, but all in the honour of COTEC |

Not reall, they are on cotec for tFoK, they are not from here :P
Actually I think they have gone to most major sites. They have gone to Herdstone, Warpath, Underempire, Bugmans, Druchii, and more. The background story probably holds less appeal for those who have not played in the other two games. We who did are the background, we helped create it through our actions, so to us its alot more enthralling. |

@ LB: So they did go to the major forums, but still not us... now thats just arrogant and patronising :P Just kiddin' I don't mean to start and argument like last time  . As LB said, I can see the benefits if you've been involved with it before, but I wasn't, so therefore I also see snyg's side. I though about it today... and tbh, the next month is going to be very hectic for me, then I will have a break for easter, and the time after that will be twice as hectic! So sadly I may not be able to be all that active in any major campaigns before the summer :( |

Actually, we have had like three adverts about it :P I probably won't be very involved either. I will play, but I won't go into battles plans and such in any great details, no time. |

Yes, posted by Narmo and Marixis! If they hadn't taken it out of their own time to tell us, we would never have known :P . Hell they chose a Chaos faction AND selected a leader without even sending someone to let us, the major Chaos Mortals site on the net, know. Anyway, thats beside the point. Exactly how involved do you have to be, LB? |

Well, thats just because when when they where discussing where to advertice I told them that Cotec was already done. If I hadn't we would have gotten another advert from them :P You don't really have to be very involved at all. You need like ten minutes a day to by troops and move your army, but that is about all. Of course, its always a bit of fun to at least take a look at the plans the faction has and such. |

Aspirant to Anarīs favour.

I am very involved because by chaos winning, Alith Anar could kill Malekith (hopefully) |

Thanks for your opinions, guys. As I said before, I totally understand the whole time-issue thing (Finals, Sports, and general Real-Life shat have hit me hard as well), and I most likely won't be anything more than a minor player who puts his troops where needed and says little. I just don't have time to do anything else. ;)
This was one thing that hit me as very strange when I read the post on their forums a few days ago. I recognized literally one or two people who applied for the leadership slot(s), and those not very well. (mostly just remembering their names from past campaigns.) I'm not saying that those chosen are necessarily bad, but Chaos-wise, I'm not sure of their...experience, to say. But whatever. What do I know? :P |

Rise from the Ashes

Heh, too true. And, funnily enough, I just recieved another indicator that I will not be participating in this campaign with any great influence - I just got (indirectly) called a "new lad." New lad? Why, I've done my part in every major online campaign since SoC, and...ah, whatever. ;) The fact is, I just don't know hardly anyone there (in the Chaos side, at least), and vice versa. It seems as though there are a few 'bigwigs' that will run the show, whilst "new lads" like myself get punted to the sideshow. ...new lad...sheeesh. |

Hehe, Marixis is a newbie ^_^ ;) . Though I guess this is on Asur.org's ground, so we technically are newbies (unless you participated in the other campaigns they ran...) |
