I'm not sold on what Chaos God to make my army follow. I don't want to do undivided, because I'm kind of against hodge-podge and unthemed armies. I also definitely don't want to play Khorne. As long as there are 12-14 year old boys who like to scream "Blood for the blood god!" very loudly during open gaming, there will be more than enough Khorne players. (No offense to the mature Khorne players regardless of age, I've just seen way too many kids cry cheese when they lose and scream out the above statement every time they cause a wound... <_< ) I'm really leaning towards Slaanesh, since you don't see a lot of people playing Slaanesh, or at least I haven't. But I really can't decide. Can anyone help me lay out the pros and cons? I'm new to Chaos. |

Go Tzeentch! Pro: Tzeentch is cool. Tzeentch has cool magic. Tzeentch troops are not dressed in pink but cool blue. Con: None what so ever. No, seriously, I am not sure there is much to say when it comes to pro and con in the rules for either side, they are pretty equal. In general, I don't belive it will matter ruleswise, so concentrate on the fluff and look. If you like how Slaaneshi armies look, and if you like their fluff, then go for it. |

*whispers* Ah, yes, Slaanesh is the way to go. Do not listen to Lightbringer and his clown god, the Prince of Excess is the one to serve :ph43r: . */whispers* :P |

Personally I like Khorne best, but as you donīt want to play Khorne, then I would say Slaanesh. Proīs: Cheap mark, reliable troops, great lore, best spawns & mtd daemonettes are very fast. This is an army best used for tactical players who likes to move around their units a lot for favorable charges (more so than the other gods, save perhaps Tzeentch that is, because you still have to manoeuver any Chaos army you play in order to win). Conīs: Donīt hit as hard in combat as Khorne, nor are they as good at surviving as Nurgle, & they really canīt match the magic of Tzeentch (despite having a better lore, w.out the staff & the 12+ dice it wonīt happen). |

What ur problem with 13 year old KHorne players? Just cause we have the best fighters dont mean we all cry chesse at a wound on us and run around shouting BLODD FOR THE BLOOD GOD when we cause 1 wound(i only do it when i cause 10+ in one round) I completly agree with Dark general |

I wish people would Scream stuff like that. And I really miss WAAAAAAGH cries in our local GW store. Nurge is really cool IMO, offers great opportunities for converting, and I love the lore. And undivided armies can be really themed, you just have to look outside the box. :D |

Yes, no real battlecry, but I love screaming NURLGE EYES when I roll 4 ones. |

Well, even though you didn't pick Tzeentch, Slaanesh is still a good choice. ;) Good luck with the painting and gaming. |
