I never played campaign and understand that immediately, looks like im clever :P I think you will have to insert some compulsory informations (enemy race ...) plus you can write your battle report, don't think its necessary. |

I'm just assuming. There were forums for Albion, Eye of Terror, SoC, WotR and I believe for Medusa V, so I guessed there would be for NC as well. Though now with GW's forums closed it is possible that there won't be. So in that case how does GW check out fluff and battlereports? Would they check all the fan sites like COTEC, Da Warpath, Warseer etc.? |

There won't be a Nemesis forum. Just like in Medusa, there will be a space to do a write up to accompany your report when you submit your game results on the website. |

Yes, that sounds right. I thought I heard that somewhere, but couldn't confirm it. Either way (forums, reports, whatever), Chaos will need to churn out some seriously good fluff to get recognition. Quality over quantity, don't you know. ;) Oh, and sorry about not getting into the MoW, Demolisher. You had my vote. |

Now we just need to sort our fluff out :P. On Warseer everyone seems fond of the idea of going to Middenheim. |

I really can't see a concerted attack on Middenheim being recognised by GW as Middenheim isn't even on the Nemesis Crown map... That's why I specifically positioned the centre of the Four Curses of Chaos storyline within the Great Forest - so it has more chance of being taken on board and worked with by GW. How do I know there won't be a forum on the Nemesis website? Well, I guess I don't know for certain, but it's a sensible estimation. By this time last year I believe there was one up on the Medusa website, and Nemesis seems to following a similar template in most other ways. Also, as GW has closed all other official forums, I doubt they'll open one for Nemesis - it'll just be overrun by off-topic posts anyway. I presume there will be a space for written battle reports because there was one for Medusa. If memory serves, this was confirmed by a Games Developer over on Warseer. The Legion of Oblivion has had a fairly positive reaction over on Warseer - I'd like to once again reiterate that you guys are more than welcome over there. Even if you hate the background, at least pop over and say why... |

Objective - The servants of the Ruinous Powers seek nothing more (or less) than blood, skulls, and souls. As the armies of Men, Dwarfs, and greenskins converge in the Great Forest, seaborne warlords lead their warbands up the great rivers to attack towns far inland. There, the Hordes of Chaos bring mayhem and slaughter to all who stand before them. With every Hordes of Chaos victory, the Ruinous Powers grow stronger, whilst the forces of their foes are weakened. Thats objective GW came with a we should hold it. Thats why I think, the Four Curses is not the way to go. We should grab our chance for massive attack to Empire while their armies are trying to find Nemesis crown somewhere deep in The Great Forest. |

But if we are to make a massive attack against the Empire then where? The Nemesis Crown map only allows action within the Great Forest - making an attack against Middenheim or Altdorf is impossible. The Four Curses of Chaos are a means to the end. The purpose of capturing them is to increase the powerbase of the Hordes of Chaos, which will in turn assist our mission of destruction and slaughter. It also gives us a chance to band together and accomplish something, rather than just "destroyin' stuff" which is unlikely to attract GW's attention as something particularly unusual and intriguing. |

Mechanics wise we can only attack in the Great Forest, but other armies have goals that don't concern the Forest. The Bretonnians are attacking the Empire's lands that border Bretonnia to get more land, and the Tomb Kings are attacking Altdorf to get their treasures back. So it is possible for us to set campaign goals that don't have anything to do with the Great Forest. |

yea yea dont tell me that everyone can go for nemesis crown, armies of the whole world in one forest come on its ridicolous. and the 4 courses seems like campaign in campaign. |

Yes it might sound rediculous for all armies to be in the Great Forest during the campaign. And yes, initial goals seem to make it bizarre for TKs or Bretts to have an interest in this area of the Empire. But once the campaign starts, I really do believe that all background switches to what happens in the Great Forest. Malekith's goal might be to prepare for an invasion of Ulthuan, but I think the chance of an invasion actually getting mentioned in the background is unlikely to impossible. I believe the same is true of an invasion of Middenheim. Furthermore, if we attempt to sack Middenheim, we have no chance of success. There's no way GW is going to remove one of the Empire's biggest cities from the map of the Warhammer World when Empire players weren't even told they were playing to defend it. |
