Hi everyone At the moment there are alot of ideas flying around about mini campaigns involving many new and exciting concepts. However, many of these concepts involves things which COTEC has never ventured into before. Therefore what I want to do is hold a mini campaign, sort of an experiment to see how things work and to hone my skills for when we want to do a 'real' campaign. My only problem is that I need a theme, Im so clueless as to what it is going to be about? This campaign is going to be held by me, only because its a learning experience that I feel I need to deliver the great stuff being discuessed in the campaigns section of admin. So let your imagination run willd. I will ask you to keep it simple though, only within the four powers. |

A might storm brewed up in the wastes. Fueled by magic and the hate of the chaos gods, the storm's lighting drew forth the Shaggoths too play their deadly games. However one Shaggoth was absent, a mighty creature who had yet too pledge himself too one god. Had the ancient one over slept? Was he trapped in his den? Dead? He posseses a massive treasure horde with many fell items in it. The gods speak through their oricals. Find the fate of the Shagoth, claim him or his trasure for your god..... You could make a small grid map with several mountains. The Shaggoth den could be in the middle. The players could fight over the grids till one player/fraction controled it. Then move too the next territory, ect... untill they control the den. Then the end could be one of several things but should include a bonus for the winner's fraction in the next CoTec campaign. Just my thoughts. -_- |

The fuight in Elantis when the Fall happen ed against Chaos? The good faction would be led by Lagoth before becoming Lagoth and the evilones by chaos. |

No, not another good vs evil campaign, especially not w. the Lagothians as theyīre not developed yet! I would like a basic concept w. 4 champions (1 from each god) fighting eachother. Demolishers basics were quite cool, one could explore this part a little more, w. a more detailed (& better spelling ;) ) story it could be very good. But I want to point out that right now isnīt the best of times to start a campaign due to the Nemesis crown campaign. |

For a 'test' mini campaign I'd take just a normal theme. If there are other races going to be present, the Chaos army or armies are invading and the others defend (which does not mean they have to be 'defender' or something). Such things, and Chaos warbands never have any problems with finding reasons to fight each other. A side note about the spelling thingie: There is a difference between 'too' and 'to'. That is, in short, 'too' is used when stating something is over the top (it's too much/too bad/too shiny.) 'To' is used when stating something you or someone else will do or should do (I'm going to/have to see my friend/play a deadly game/eat a chocolate.) Hope that clears it up a bit. |

I agree, a mini-camp for Cotec should only be the 4 main Chaos gods. Other races would not be needed. |
