I just wanted to buy mounted undivided hero and cannot find anything like that. How you guys make your mounted heroes? The only viable option I could came up is to convert chaos knight somehow. |

For undivided you could always use the old Archaon model or some oldr character models. Otherwise converting the sorcerer or a Chaos knight is your best bet. |

For my Khorne Exalted, I simply put the champion from the daemonic mount on a ''normal'' horse. (the daemonic steed got converted into a steed for my Blood dragon lord) |

I converted a Chaos Knight for my Tzeench model on horseback. If you have a dremel the head comes off pretty easy and some of the more ornate chaos warrior heads work really well. the shields from warriors look pretty good too because they are larger than a Knight shield. I also used the flaming Halberd from the disk rider for his weapon but that may not work for an Undivided champ. |

Drill out its head and add your own helmet, give him new weapons, maybe convert something for him. Buff him up a bit, paint him differently. The beauty of this game is that you can do anything. |

I used a empire knightly order with some chaos bits, for my champ with banner. I used the empire banner from some infantry unit I think as well to make the banner. |

I saw it mentioned, but would taking a Empire mounted hero and converting with chaos bits be good? |

I think your best option is to use the 5th ed chaos lord, its a good model apart for the head (which is easy to replace), you have plenty of options for replacement, i have seen a chaos marine lord head used (its actually in the army book). You Archoan, its a great model and very easy to convert (not that you actually need to), if you dont want to use the horse as well you have many options, mail order some chaos knight legs (4th/5th ones) and any horse you like, use a rackham horse. Use the 4th ed mounted chaos knight champion, this is also a very nice mode, i've actually used it for a foor champion. Posted Image I wouldnt suggest just converting the standard chaos knight champion, i hate to say it but it just looks lame, you want something that is going to stick out, what about classic archoan, im sure again with a altered head it could look fine as a chaos lord Posted Image Engrim van horstman, his upper body could be fine for a chaos champion, i dont think he actually looks all that tzeentchie. Oh and finally i thought i would post a picture of my lord (which i posted here sometime ago) just to prove you dont need to go over the top for conversions Posted Image |

Interesting indeed, i like him. I think i'm going to use the champion model though and just try make him stand out by leaps and bounds! lol. I'll think of something its easier with the peices in hand than just thinking about it. |

Well then i can only suggest if you want the cheaper version use the older chaos knight champion, i believe its only a few pounds more than a chaos knight champion and would certainly look nice with the other chaos knights! |
