Hey all, it seems that some of you will be participating in the Nemesis Crown campaign. Currently, I'm trying to collate the fluff of as many characters as possible into one list--one link for each race. I am of the opinion that we should all--regardless of race--work together to further the fluff of others as well as our own. It will, hopefully, serve to bring the community together in some ways. Without further ado, here's the list: Dwarfs The Ogre Kingdoms Wood Elves Lizardmen High Elves Bretonnians Dark Elves Vampire Counts The Empire Beasts of Chaos Skaven Orcs, Goblins and Chaos Dwarfs Tomb Kings Feel free to add your own characters in this thread so that if anyone is looking for some Horde of Chaos characters to include, they'll know just where to find 'em. :) Please note, however, that some of these forums require registration before viewing. |

The Change Chosen
![]()
|
Champion: Lord Augrimm, Change Chosen of Tzeentch, Archlord of "The Chamber", Master of The Hellfires of Tzeentch Warband: The Hellfires of Tzeentch. Lord Augrimm's personal retinue. The Hellfires are an extremely manouverable force containing almost exclusively mounted models and fliers as well as his chief leutenants, to conform to Lord Augrimm's mobile and fluid style of war. The warriors of The Hellfires pride themselves on their cunning, craft, and deception. They launch countless feints and manouvers, confusing their foes as they tear them asunder with Tzeentch's blessed magics combined with surgical, lightning-fast strikes from unexpected quarters. Though few in number themselves, the Hellfires' power and cunning is such that they can defeat many times thier own number in battle. In addition to his personal guard, Lord Augrimm has enlisted the aid of 2 other warbands of Chaos: The Ebon Hand (an undivided warband, favoring fast units as well as some beastmen), and The DoomBringers (a Khornite warband with a mixture of cavalry, infantry, and monsters). Goals: The Dreadlords of The Chamber have commanded the retrieval of a mighty artifact (Lord Augrimm is not sure if this is the Crown itself, though it seems likely, or some lesser artifact.... perhaps a Key of The Old Ones or some other similiar item). Rumor has it that this item has the power to throw the Polar Gates wide once more and enable the Lords of The Chamber to issue in a new Time of Chaos. To this end the Chamber has sent it's mightiest Warlords, Clanlords, and even Archlords forth to conquer and claim this object as it's own. The tread of countless warriors, tribesmen, chariots, and steeds shakes the very earth in their path and the wise scatter in terror before their approach. Should the artifact fall within their hands the Time of Chaos is inevitable....... |

Rise from the Ashes
|
Emulating Tammil's nice layout: Champion: Ycharveth, The Betrayer, Daemon-Soul, Lord of the Callous Executor. Warband: The Remnants. The survivors of uncounted battles, campaigns, and the Storm of Chaos itself, the self-titled "Remnants" are composed of veteran warriors and sorcerers loyal only to their master, Ycharveth, and his - Tzeentch. Their numbers were greatly depleted following the events on the forgotten island of Miannantus, where fully half rose up and joined Ycharveth in the murder of Marixis, High Lord of Tzeentch, and all who supported him. The newest addition has attracted much curiosity and attention - but none dare question Ycharveth about its nature, for fear of facing the wrath of this "Callous Executor"... Goals: In ages past, Marixis was a valued and highly respected Lord of "The Chamber", and Ycharveth stood steadfastly by his side. When the former lieutenant emerged from the chaos of Miannantus sans his master, the Lords doubted he would remain. To this day, Ycharveth leads the Remnants in support of The Chamber's armies, but suspicions abound as to his true motives. He searches for the Artifact, this much is true, but for what reasons...? Unfinished: Will add more later |

The World Slayer
|
Why not get in on this? Some of you may need to dig up old fluff of mine for this to make some sense... Champion: Cer'ale, the Reaver, Night Shadow, Lord of Shadow's Reach, Brother of the Shadow Trinity. Warband: Fist of the Reaver. The devoted of Cer'ale who have followed him on his quests for the past several years. When Cer'ale challenged Slaithus' claim as Night Shadow, they are the ones who stood by Cer'ale and his own claim to power. They left the island of Miannantus and launched several of their own conquests. The Fist's name became known throughout the seas as Cer'ale challenged the most powerful naval fleets of the world. The Fist's power has since grown beyond its already sizable proportions - large tribes of Beasts in the old forests and barbaric desert nomads have pledged themselves to Cer'ale. One can only imagine the amount of havoc the Reaver will create with his allies in the upcoming conflict... Goals: On his return to the Old World (part of his responsibility as a member of the Chamber), he made a few discoveries. Slaithus, the Empty, Night Shadow, and Cer'ale's previous master also arrived to answer the Chamber's call. In addition, Vorash, the Anointed, Night Shadow who was thought to have perished in the Storm of Chaos campaign has arrived as well. While there can only be one true Night Shadow, the three have agreed to put aside their differences in the name of Shi'zakh and help locate the fabled Nemesis Crown, forming the dreaded Shadow Trinity. The Crown, however, is only a part of Cer'ale's plans. While the Shadow Trinity lay their attacks on the coastline, the allies of the Trinity can move freely into the Old World and assist in the search for the Crown. Once that is found, it is only a matter of time before Cer'ale can use its power to find an even more potent weapon - a weapon that although can only be used to a certain extent by the Ruinous Powers - would solidify his claim as the One Night Shadow, and make the world weep blood. Stratos, the Worldslayer, is now within a disturbingly reach of being discovered by the forces of Shi'zakh. |

High Zar of Khorne
![]()
|
Champion: High Zar Citanul, Hunter of Khorne, Skulltaker & Archlord of "The Chamber". Warband: The Skulltakers. Probably the most well known warrior band in the legends of the old world. They´ve been part of all major Chaos incursions as well as many lesser raids. Carnage, butchery and slaughter are the lifeblood of the skulltakers. The members of the skulltakers pride themselves on being the greatest fighters to walk the earth. Citanul is the current leader of the skulltakers, having taking command over them after the Storm of Chaos. Goals: Citanul is one of Khorne´s greatest champions, almost no one can match his skills in single combat, this has however made him very selfish and he only searches for the Crown and the chance to fight other powerful enemies to gain immortality by daemonhood. Not caring for his warriors at all, means that even though no race can match the Skulltakers in even combat, they´re not the best organized army, nor are they very tactical. |

Master of the Eleven Foot Stick of Supreme Sticking

IF I play, the Swerrgs lead by Korgath and Dagor will probably be the ones chopping up the goodies. Except for the general mayhem and destruction, I've yet to decide what they want to accomplish. Probably I'll just go with the flow, so to say. This will likly be properly updated once I know how things will go. |

A well known warband of the blood god, they have taken part in many battles, it was them who stood at the gates of Praag refusing to give way to solders of the empire and ever since they have plague the old world. They pride themselves at being the greatest of warriors, slaughtering all who dare stand before them. Lord Kormak is currently leads the Blood Drinkers after slaying the former leader in a challenge, such is the way of Khorne, only the strongest my lead. Goals:To spill blood in the name of Khorne, the life of a Khorne warrior is a simple one. |

Warrior of the Chamber

My favorite part of this game is fluff, and as there are no Nurgle Champions here, I will include my own. Someone needs to represent the grandfather. Champion: Demortris, Plague Spreader, Lord of the Plagued Scythes. Warband: The Plagued Scythes. After emerging victorious from many inner tribe wars as thier new and undisputed lord, Demortris set about creating a host to kill and spread plague and destruction in the name of Grandfather Nurgle. His warband grows evermore as the years go by. Goals: To kill and sacrifice in the name of Nurgle. Demortris seeks daemonhood, and was promised such a reward should he prove victorious in his drive through the forests. He wishes to spread the many plagues that were gifted from his god, and those many towns and villages he lays waste to are his sacrifice. He cares not for the crown, only to rot and destroy. |

No nurgle? Hold your deamonic horses. Champion: Morger-Horn skull, beast and chaos lord. Second in command:(Smaller games)Brok-Kaw, Bearer of the battle standard, Weilder of the hammer of chaos. Warband: The horned ones. A warband comprised of man and beast: herds of gors and ungors, maruders by the bucket load, Bestigors, Minotaurs, dragon ogres and dragon ogre shaggoths make up the rest of the beasts. He has even utilised flaggelants form the empire, converted to the side of chaos. He was raised by the beasts in drakwold forest and rose to the top of his herd (this explains the large amount of beasts in his army). He left drakwold with a huge herd of beasts and took over the first norse settlement he could (By grabbing the current leader by the skull and crushing it), he then proceeded to ransack the nearest empire farmsteads (A beast tactic) useing a mix of maruder horsemen and centigors. Goals: Morger cares not for the crown to come into his possesion. But if the empire got there clammy hands on it, his raids could cease, it must be destroyed. He is also infuriated with the empire, they have caused the beasts to run away as refugees from their own homes, this will not stand. Some beasts that ran from the forst have joined his warband though, causeing the warband to triple in size, and the empire will take the full force of this accumilated rage. |

Warrior of the Chamber

First fluff for my Chaos, trying to be a little unique(Undivided :) ) Champion: Karnash the Brood Warband: The Brood Legion. Collection of those who have been following Karnash since his beginnings as the simple cheiftain of a small village. There his father was killed by Kislev raiders. He took the village under his command and moved it, not transplanting, but started roaming the Northern areas of lands of the untainted man. He killed many in vengence. As he traveled many Norse joined his cause, those proving the most worth were given the armor that began their corruption. He Dedicated his forces to no particular god sharing the spoils among all of them. Leaving smalls shrines of skulls and bones for Khorne, Using rats to infest upcoming raid targets, raveging and killing the woman of his dead foes for Slaneesh, and before his conquests his fellow Cheiftains would use the wisdom and knowledge of the land and enemy as foretold by the Sorcerer Necgoth in the name of Tzeenech. He has build up his forces over these ten years even participating in the great storm of Chaos, his Legion was left to guard the villages along the Kislev boarder and there he fought the surviving rebels the storm didn't obliterate. The Force has many foot solders and his elite calvary to pound enemies the infantry doesn't destroy. He employs Furies and Warhounds to aid his mortal allies. He has no expectations for demonhood and just lives to destroy what the "civilized world" decided he didn't deserve. Goals: Karnash and his legion want to take this opprutunity and claim glory in their enemies blood and their families dread of hearing just the whisper of the name "Karnash the Brood", after his forces sweep through so does the wave that follows that sends any survivors into taking their own lives in desperation of release. The crown seems like a good lure for further destruction. |
