Ok, so I take a hero mounted on to a chariot. For victory points purposes, can a chariot mounted character capture table quarters? I know characters cannot capture them, but the way it interprets to me it is like a hero being with a unit, as the chariot can be taken as a seperate unit. So I was not sure. |

I might be wrong, but I thought you needed unit strength of 5 to capture the table quarters, so depending on the unit strength of the hero and chariot (most likely 5 if I remember correctly) it should theoretically work. But I'm not overly sure. |

You are right about it being unit strength five. But according to the rules a character cannot capture a table quarter. My reasoning as to why I think he might if mounted in a chariot is already posted though. |

If the rules specifically state that a character can't claim a table quarter (I haven't read the 7th ed rules for claiming quarters) then he cannot, even in a chariot, as the chariot is treated as his mount, not a unit he has joined. |
