So, me and some of my gaming buddies are building a mordheim board. Only problem is the lack of plastic card stops us from making buildings. Which, if you can imagine is devastating for a city. Does anyone know what kind of store has it? |

actually, try calling it styrene sheet. it'll be in places that sell either graphics supplies [for architects] or railway modelling supplies. foamboard is something different altogether. basically, it is foam sandwiched between two thin sheets of cardboard. personally, i prefer pasteboard. this is lots of thin sheets of card just glued together. it is light, cheap and sturdy and doesn't melt when spray painted. it can be a bit difficult to cut, but use a sharp knife and go over each cut line two to three times and you're there. chisels are excellent for window openings or other tricky shapes. i'm making a mordheim city at the moment, and using one sheet of pasteboard I've made one three level inn, a tower, a large stable/warehouse, three double storey buildings and three single storey buildings. And there's enough sheet left over to make a few more buildings. |
