I've just noticed that GW have dropped the old metal Daemon Princes in their online store. I find this very strange especially since Daemons have just come out, so if they have discontinued the old models maybe new ones are on the way. Just recently GW have had Lords & Heroes in plastic multi-part boxes (SM hero, Empire General, Orc/Goblin bosses/shamans), but wouldn't it be cool to have a box like that for Daemon Princes! This is just speculation but a staff member of my local GW said that Mortals will get some "big nasty stuff" in the new army book. Anyone else heard anything? |

Probably dropped him because Daemon Princes are such a poor choice in the new book that no one will take him! You can always mail order the old one or find one on e-bay. Heck, I haven't used either of my daemon Princes since 5th ed...... I'm not even sure where they are! |

Apparently the plastic character boxes haven't sold very well, so it's a possibility they wont make any more. They could make a new metal one, though. |

Itīs really a shame, I liked the plastic character sets, even though I prefer to have my characters in metal it seemed fun to customize your own character in almost any way you want. |

Probably because they are so darn expensive! I think something like Daemon Princes are a better idea as metal models that size are way too heavy, my Doombull is notoriously weighty. |

The Daemon Prince will most likely be an option in the new Warriors of Chaos armybook so we might be lucky to see a new model. It's a shame it is so crappy in the Daemon book though. |

yeah im not actually that surprised, i dont think i have actually seen that many plastic commanders in my games. To be honest, i doubt the daemon prince would be hugely different from daemons of chaos one, he will just have far fewer upgrade options. |

The plastic character kits are gone pretty much. However, Chaos will be getting a new big plastic kit as a second wave release for the new book, so this could very well be a Daemon Prince. |

Good news for me, I'm still in the dark over how to convert my Daemon Prince but it will be easier if the parts are plastic. |

I've seen that before. It looks a bit odd. Kinda like the legs are from one model and the top half is from another but they don't quite fit right. Prefer Be'Lakor myself :) |
