Dunno if this goes here or in "Off Topic" but I was wondering if the game Warhammer: Mark of Chaos was any good? Apparently Chaos is one of the playable armies. It is also a Real time tactics game not Real time strategy like Dawn of War. Anyone got it, played it?

My mate use to play it and I had fair few cracks at it.

Its a pretty descent game, I thoughty they did a really good job in converting all those miniaturers into gameplay. You could probably ask the Warhammer Online players too, as I'd imagine they would have clocked it.

I played it recently.

The game is pretty cool for a warhammer fan the first time you play it, but gets boring very fast. At the beginning you are astonished by the battles, but then you realize they are actualyly all the same.

Also, the AI is practicaly non existant, the enemy units stand in place or wander around the map patrolling, until they see any of our units, then they charge in a straight line, right into a trap. Usualy it's your entire army of 4-6, sometimes 8 units, against 1-3 enemy units.

Seiges are a little more fun, but only a little.

It's still wirth playing once if one's a WFB fan, but overall I give it 4/10.

Yeah it's funny for a short while, until you realise you've got an army to paint also ;)

In short, it isn't a DoW in fantasy style. There is comming a expention for the game though, or so I belive.

5/10 for the game.

The expansion came out a few months ago.

I have the full expanded version Battle March on Xbox 360. It's a great game, tough enough at first, but it can get monotonous unless you start to play online.
