2250 Tournament army; Need help with Characters

I am gonna order some minis soon and haven't decided how my army is gonna be, so any feed back is really appreciated.


The main idea is to have a fast army backed up with heavy magic support.

Characters:


Sorcerer Lord of Tzeentch (made from Ahriman)

2+ save/5+ ward save/ 2 MR. Pretty decent save. Are gonna volley magic from the Marauder bunker. If faced against a fast enemy that prob. will reach the unit he will get steed of shadows for manoeuverability.

Backup for Lvl 4 sorcerer, also in Marauder bunker. Competent spell caster with +2 to cast spell, and with Conjoined Honumculus +3 - +5 for one spell/turn can be good if he gets Infernal hellgate or Pandemonium.

- I am gonna give these fellows one more chance. They have yet to earn their points but I reallt think the concept is cool. May switch to a giant or something else.

I would only make two suggestions, change the Skull of Katam for a Power Familiar, and take the Mark of Slaanesh off the Knights, 9 times out of 10 you will never need it with them, due to causing fear and re-rolling panic.

Other than that, great list.

GM's suggestions are good ones.

I also would drop the champs in the knight units, not needed. Your better of with a Banner or a sixth knight honestly.

Yeah, drop the skull of katam for a power familiar and switch that and the book around - the extra trouble from miscasts is much less of a worry on your Lv2 than your pimped out Lv4. I'd swap the enchanted talisman (talisman of protection?) for bloodcurdling roar too. The ward won't stack with the armour of morslieb, and this gives you a nice way to kill the odd knight, or even a dwarf or two from a big block, trimming their static CR before you get stuck in. Other than that, I'd drop the chariot as I imagine the 2 warshrines will perform most of the functions you'd want the chariot for - I suspect you'd get more value from the extra block of marauders.
