Well it's back to Fantasy. I just got back from doing Military stuff and wanted to get back into Fantasy. Have had a couple great games so far and have had to tweek my list here and there.

I had won a couple good awards in RTT's but some how forgot how to play in the last year and a half. So On to my list that I play tonight and prep for tournament play.

Names coming for list and Characters soon.

1) Khorne Chaos Lord - 405pts
Mark Of Khorne, Juggernaught, Enchanted Shield, Chaos Daemon AXE (not sword lol) Word Of agony .

Having a -1 Armour save is a pretty good option to have when swinging around this crazy blade and hopefully word of agony can help me whittle down Challenges so my lord can go to town on a unit.

2) Chaos Wizard AKA - Scroll Caddy -151 pts
Dispel Scroll x2 , Chaos Barded Steed

This now gives the wizard a 2+ armour save and with two wounds and some cool stats he can almost fight.

3) Marauder Horsemen x5 - 65 pts
4) Marauder Horsemen x5 - 65 pts
5) Marauder Horsemen x5- 65 pts

Core and cheap fast cav for screening. Bare bones and at the best they can at full number take a table edge, Chase down skirmishers and tie them up or put some pressure on war machines units THAT cant fight in hand to hand like dwarves hahaha

6)Chaos Knights Of Khorne x10
Mark Of Khorne , Musician , Standard Bearer, Blasted Standard 5+ Ward against shooting

The Khorne lord is going into this unit so the front is about with him 5 models wide and I ranked the back to 6. This unit So far has made it to combat every time. It takes hits from Shooting and what the banner does not stop or armour gets taking off the back rank and leaves a good front rank when I slam into the enemy full steam. You may notice there is no champ. I figure the Khorne lord would not allow another champ next to him so he killed him. HA! That and I needed those points else where.

7) Chaos Knights Of Nurgle x10 -
Mark Of Nurgle , Musician, Champion , Standard

Had to put the new Chaos Lord with the Hammer and awesome Warhorse into this unit as its champion. That model is to good not to have in your army. Also the mark of Nurgle will help these knights get though the storm of shoooting and hopefully though magic and shooting make it to the enemy with a flush front rank and with a -1 to the enemies weapon skill that also makes them pretty damn cool in my book.

8) Chaos Ogres Of Nurgle x 4 - 240pts
Mark Of Nurgle, Chaos Armour, Great Weapons, Musicians

My goal here with the Chaos ogres is to have either a HARD flanker or I see a hill with a Warmachine on it they see ogres across. Multi Wound Ogres and a -1 to hit them with shooting is a pretty deadly combo.

9) Chaos Warshrine - 130pts

10) Chaos Warshrine - 130pts

These Warshrines just follow my Knights in Pumping them up.

The list is small but hits like a hammer and is in a way elite. I don't like big armies. I do terrible when I have to much stuff to move and I seem to bottle neck myself when I play with MASS.

It's a pretty good list. The Horsemen could do with some flails though and musicians. The Lord is pretty risky too.

Looks pritty good indeed, like mentioned the Lord is a risky choise, I would love to field him often in Tournaments, but he isn't always worth the effort.

Bar that I like it, loads of knights is a good thing.

Cheers,

Well, I'll give it a small touch, it is nice for friendly play, do not expect wonders of the warshrine. And if you think they are useless (as I've experienced) drop them, split the 10 knight unit in 2x 6 and add more Horseman?

Cheers,

I tried the small units of Knights before and they never make it to combat with a full fresh front line to impact hard enough to break though.

I am not expecting to many wonders from the shrines but I want to try and pump up the unit with the perfect skill before smashing them head long into battle.

How would you make the list not friendly?

That was when Knights had a lesser save. Using them in 10's is just wasting potential and points. All you have to do is put a unit of Hounds on front of them and they will reach the enemy lines intact.

I would give Chaos Warshrines mark of tzeench or slaanesh so it won't be broken by fear outnumber, or have better ward save......

This was not back in the day with the small knight units. This was like the other day. LOL!

Dogs don't save you from Warmachines on hills.

With the block at big and strong as of last night, I have made it down the pipe every game and smashed my way to glory.

The war shrines rolled good the first couple games and gave my Khorne knight unit a 12 and that was something made of AWESOME!

Last game they did ok. I got Str. And a Toughness boost helped smash into combat.

Ogres.....MUAHAHAHAH Flanked a unit of dark elves and pretty much made them breakfast.

Then I played a Vamps army and have not played vamps ever. I used to be good before I went into the Military and I seem to have forgot how to play undead. lol!

I got beat into submission.

I like your list Vorpal.

It has some controversy in fielding 10 man strong knight units, but I don't dislike it. Actually I feel that this list is pretty...raw.

Good luck!
