Anything non infantry is flank guard, because I wanted this to be a hard infantry list. Forsaken is a flank block too, and the 10 maruaders are screens for the warriors and Chosen. I wnated all 3 types of chaos warriors too. The Lord is also a flank, and the BSB goes with the Warriors. |

Skipping the queue a little I know but these units won't really do anything except die, really, even if you are going for infantry heavy, you still need some mobility, and since these are useless units almost, you would be best take two 5 man horsemen units with the same gear.
Even if it is an infantry army, you are still best to put this guy on a steed for the extra +2 to his AS, and at the very least, give him a shield.
Give the Warriors Shields for those times when they have to take the charge, which will be often, and drop the light armour from the Marauders to save points, 9 times out of 10 a 6+ AS will get you nowhere.
Same deal as with the Warriors, if they can't take a charge then they are not that good, so shields.
They seem appealing at the worst of times, but I have tried them out, and man do they suck big time.
You do know that a Chariot is only 120pts, and if you were meant to write Mark of Khorne hear too, then you really should consider not, since a frenzied chariot is more a hazard to itself than anything else. Even a mediocre opponent will know to lead it off into the woods were it takes D6 S6 hits and then gets stuck for two turns. |

you dont put frenzied characters on steeds when in infantry units, they just get baited out of the unit. |

Oh God yes, I didn't even notice that. I guess after you have seen the word Knights in the last 99 lists you've looked at, the image of that word sort of gets imprinted in your mind's eye. |

And even a mediocre player can position his frenzied chariot far away from woods, screen it and what not. Same thing. I would have liked to see the khorne marks being on the marauders instead of the chosen and warriors. It creates more threats, and the possibility of wrong charges are only going to hit the cheap things that way. Other than that, get the chaos armour guys some shields, and unless you've a very good plan with the forsaken, I would skip them in favor off other complementary units. Marauder horsemen would be a good start, for example. |
