This is for a Campaign so the General cannot change but I can change his options. He just has to be an Exalted of Khorne.

The problem I am having is balancing in some magic defense without wasting too many points on troops. I think I managed it though.

Exalted Hero of Khorne @ 220 Pts
General; Shield
Armour of Morrslieb (4+ Ward Non magic attacks)
Favour of the Gods
Juggernaut of Khorne

17 Chaos Warriors of Khorne @ 369 Pts
Halberd; Shield;
Full Command
Rapturous Standard

Exalted Hero of Khorne @ 188 Pts
Great Weapon; Shield
Collar of Khorne
Helm of Many Eyes

5 Marauder Horsemen of Slaanesh @ 91 Pts
Flail; Musician

5 Chaos Warhounds @ 30 Pts

5 Chaos Warhounds @ 30 Pts

5 Chaos Knights of Khorne @ 320 Pts
Full Command
Blasted Standard (5+ ward vs shooting)

Casting Pool: 2
Dispel Pool: 2

Models in Army: 39
Total Army Cost: 1248

OK was toying with the list and made a change already.

Swapped out the 2nd Exalted on foot with a L2 MoT Collar of Khorne, Enchanted Shield, Biting Blade.

He will hide in the unit with the Warriors.

The way the list is laid out implies that that general is going with the Warriors. Say it ain't so?

Ok. Well anyway it's a good list, maybe a double edged sword with those Warriors in there. Against some armies it will be blessing as they don't won't be able to bring them down. But against things like Wood Elves and Dark Elves, they could be a burden as he ignores them to pick off the rest of your army, and then proceeds to avoid and shoot. Depends on the opponent really.

Well Meta game wise we only have 1 WE player and he is a Tree Hugger and I have beat him before using a Warrior list.

Its a Good Vs Evil Mighty Empires Campaign and I am looking down at a Dwarf, HE, and Ogres. There are 2 Bretonian and 2 Empire armies behind them.

Only one of these gives me concern because I know neither of the Empire players favors a gun line and one of them is knight heavy with 2 Swordmen Units. One of the Brets is 11 so not too worried there either. (good kid and honestly is pretty good for his age but he isn't gonna win any tournaments)

My Big concern is the first HE player I may face as he goes magic heavy with bound items which is why I like the MR. The Dwarf player plays Dwarves perfectly and takes a good combined arms list of shooting and hard infantry. Im not too concerned with the infantry as long as I dont take too many causalities from the shooting. The problem here is I dont know if Horsemen can deal with the Dwarf cannon crews/Thunderer's

They can deal with the crews, but the Thunderers is down to luck of the draw. If they were Nurgle marked though, they would have no problem.
