I'm back to mono god, for fluff reasons (I like fluffy armies). Sorcerer Lord Hand weapon; Chaos armour; Chaos Runesword; Enchanted Shield; Favour Of The Gods; Golden Eye Of Tzeentch; Wizard Level 4; Third Eye Of Tzeentch; Mark Of Nurgle; Barded Chaos Steed. 434 Chaos Sorcerer Hand weapon; Chaos armour; Book Of Secrets; Power Familiar; Wizard Level 2; Mark Of Nurgle. 190 Chaos Sorcerer Hand weapon; Chaos armour; Infernal Puppet; Wizard Level 2; Mark Of Nurgle. 175 Chaos Marauders 19 Hand weapon; Light armour; Shield; Chieftain; Standard Bearer; Musician; Mark Of Nurgle. 164 Chaos Marauders 19 Hand weapon; Light armour; Shield; Chieftain; Standard Bearer; Musician; Mark Of Nurgle. 164 Marauder Horsemen 5 Flail; Musician; Mark Of Nurgle; Warhorse. 111 Marauder Horsemen 5 Flail; Musician; Mark Of Nurgle; Warhorse. 111 Chaos Warhounds 10 Teeth & claws. 60 Ogres 3 Great weapon; Chaos armour; Mark Of Nurgle. 180 Ogres 3 Great weapon; Chaos armour; Mark Of Nurgle. 180 Chosen 18 Great weapon; Chaos armour; Champion; Standard Bearer; Musician; Banner Of Rage; Mark Of Nurgle. 475 Ogres flank for the Marauders, while the Chosen can take out nearly anything by themselves. Hounds screen. Horsemen go after WMs. I would REALLY like to stay mono Nurgle with this (it's a bit of a tribute to my friend who taught me how to play fantasy 2 1/2 years ago, who's currently in his second round of kemo). The Las Vegas GT not so long ago had his Chaos Space Marine army in it, if there are pictures anywhere, or you were there, then you would knot the paint scheme (Layered dark brown glazes/washes with green highlights). Any advice? |

Why 9 Warhounds? I think you should swap out the Chosen for 2 units of Knights. I mean it's almost 500pts for a unit that is very easily avoidable. The two units of Knights will be world's more effective. The rest of the army looks solid. |

I don't run knights just because everyone else runs knights. Just like I make a point to NOT use my anvil of doom in dwarfs............ Is there anything else I could use? Oh, and the blasted standard is supposed to be banner of rage, in wich case I have 10 dogs. Nine because I had extra points. |

Well split then into two units of 5, that way you can screen two units. If you don't want to use Knights, fair enough, but get something more cost efficient and better than Chosen. Dragon Ogres or Chariots are definitely worth considering. |

In fact here's a solution: Drop Chosen +485pts Take 2x Chariots -240pts Take a block of 12-15 Warriors with the rest. |

I would swap the favor of the gods from the sorcerer lord, unto the Chosen champion. I also think you should divide the Warhound unit up in two, and I would advise to switch out the Golden eye of Tzeentch for something that benefit units more, like the Collar of Khorne. With that, you lose the 4+ ward vs shooting if he's sniped or alone, gain 5+ ward vs everything and Magical resistance 2 for him and the unit he joins. A much better deal :) Regards, // Skyldig |

collar of khorne is only a 6+ ward w/ MR 2, he's got a nurgle lord so no bumping the ward up |

Grarg, there are so many errors in this list, I mistyped alot of stuff, and since taking out the chosen changes the whole dinamic of the list, I'm just gonna start a new thread in a few days....... |
