Nothing really big bar the SoC, well there is the Lustria book, but if I remember correclty, that only included an Pestilan list and a LM list. There was a WD with a Lustria influence for Chaos if I remember correclty, dunno where that was. But it gave us a Cold one mount option and something else like that. Cheers, |

the WD killax is talking about is WD 309 September 2005. It includes an article called: "the wayfarer's companion: Skeggi" It's an article on the lustrian viking settlement Skeggi, which has become a freehaven for looters, bandits and mercenaries but it's original population is from norsca. It osla introduces 2 new trial unit types; the Marauder Lord, and Marauder Aspiring Champion. basically the same as the 6th edition HoC counterpart only a tad cheaper, slightly weaker stats, no heavy armour option, and all daemonic steed options are replaced by a cold one option. (these chars aren't really that good but are very fluffy) :D In Chronicles 2004 there is an article with chaos mutations, these are new magic items in all respects, but are more comparable to the current chaos gifts (although a bit better) that's all I can think of apart from SoC... dunno, if these 2 ever were official, but they're from the previous edition anyhow, so I don't know how much help this was at all :P |

Yeah, I've got that Skeggi, Norscan colony list too. Pretty lame considering they got nothing new other than characters. Wher is the elite Norse infantry and the Marauder Chariot, and the like? Good concept though! |

do you really think marauders would use chariots in lustria? ;) but I get yer point. they could've at least made the chars viable options...for only 10 pts cheaper but loads weaker they are just not competing with the aspiring champion or chaos lord...anyway, I'm discussing prev edition here, hehe :P Some marauder jungle fighters would fit in there actually :P fantasy catachans |

Not sure what your WD says, but in mine they are just as good as the old chaos characters, they just lack Chaos armour & a few steed options. But are cheaper. By giving them a magical Chaos armour they were actually better than those in the HoC book, since the cost of the magical armours were based off the fact that the character was already wearing Chaos armour, it was a way of getting a cheaper lord. The list itself was lacking, but the characters were hardly all that worse as you say they were. |

when you give them chaos armour, you mean from the BoC book then? :P haven't ever thought of that :D (I haven't opened by BoC book anymore since SoC :P) |

Not only the Chaos Armour from BoC book, but any magic armour at all, since all magic armours that arenīt shields counts as Chaos armour, therefore you gain a magical Chaos armour for less points (as the Chaos armour's pointvalue is actually included in the Characters cost normally), Armour of Damnation for example was really great on a Skeggi Character, since he was 15 points cheaper than a normal lord, but no difference whatsoever if they had the same equipment. |

Yeah well that's it in a nutshell :D But siriously, it would be awesome if we got the Skeggi back, and have the Stegadon and Carnosaur option to... ^_^ I would kill for that  |
