Same here, I hope the Daemon Prince will not be the target for every cannon out there.

The core is cool, hope he will do good.

I believe the point is that he already has.

Maybe we could invite him to crosspost his report over here?

Am very impressed, with that list to win a GT, will be interesting to see which armies he played against.

First up was the Dogs of War army so it seems, Looks good but I'm not that impressed. It wasn't a uber "I own you" build. Notheless great job on a massacre.

Waiting patiencly for the next one.

I doubt he met any of the so called cheeze builds, considering it was a comp based tournament, still a great job to get to first place without any skirmishers, sacrificial units or real hardhitters.

Every army has sacrificial units ... his are just a wee bit more expensive. It's just a case of context :)

Your guess is quite right Snyg, he didn't face the Hellish builds some walk around with. However I do think he preformed excelent with what he had even vs the VC, the others though... Not that blown away by the build but his skills must be quite fantastic nontheless!

Cheers,

Well all the ideas are convirmed. It was a very compatative GT. However I must say, people who will try to do something similiar on tournaments without any restrictions are up for a whole different game!

Since loads of new players now think they can do the same and be as sucsesfull I would like to warn you of the fact that while it is a worthwhile build do loads of testing before you enter a tournament. Because there are loads of list who can shoot the pulp out of your Prince in no-time and some even don't fall into the catogory cheesy/power list.

With clever play, there is not much to worry about taking a Daemon Prince.

Any testing there from your part then?

I have yet to use it, but atm I'm going magic low.
