Not a big fan of drybrushing normally, but it seems to work on your army. |

The army's looking great - I like that jugger a lot in particular, the gorey scheme really suits it. |

Cheers mate, I wish I had a camera that could take better pictures and without flash. But I am fairly satisfied with the result =) |

That is a very nice Juggernaut - I especially like the green glowing eyes, it is a good idea to get some contrast onto the model! Greetings Eta |

Nice looking jugger! I agree w/ Eta - the glowing looking eyes are a great addition. They really stand out and draw ones eyes to the jugger's gaze. Did you use the brushed on "dip" method on him? Or did you just use a clear varnish? He looks shiny...like he has fresh blood on him!!!  |

@exodite: Thanks mate, its actually kitty litter and a fine grained sand that you can find at most hobby stores. Lord on Juggernaut finished! Posted Image Think I might go over it again and lighten up his face a bit. a little to to blue now =/ hope you guys and gals? like it. |

That juggernaut is very well done mate. The lord himself seems a bit underdone compared... maybe another highlight to the face... Then again, it could be the pics playing tricks on me. |

I REALLY love you painting, but I have to ask about the blue skin for your lord. Were you going for a Na'vi theme? It just seems too pristine for someone leading the best of the worst humanity has to offer the warhammer world. Everything else looks beautiful, but the skin color choice is just not fitting for him as I see it right now. |

yeah I can see how kitty litter would work really well now, would take colour amazingly and would glue quickly. pure genius |

@mousekiller: I agree, I am far more satisfied with the jugger compared to the lord =/ I guess he was just a little more fun to paint. And yes The face is a problem, I can see that now when I look at the model again, it has to be faded down so it does not scream blue so much. @Rivai: Hehe Khorne Na'vi Lord on Juggernaut =D well I've gotten that from allot of ppl. now and like I said above I have to fade/lighten the face up in some way so he does not start growing a ponytail and touching the jugger with it ^^; @exodite: Well I can't take credit from the kitty litter, got it somewhere from the internet =) but yeah it works great tbh. |

The other thing I am noticing mate is that the models are very shiny. Do you use a gloss coat to protect them? The gloss works for the armour on the jugger, but that may be what is hiding your highlights for the rest. A fix for this would be, after gloss coating (I assume you do this because you play with the models quite a bit) is to spray coat them with Testors Dull Coat. It will take the shine away completely. If you still want the armour shiny, just go back and put a brush on gloss to it, or even use some Future Floor Polish. Hope that helps. |
