A small conversion, originally a model from reaper mini's

And the result (added a marauder shield and a knight weapon)

In my experience i would recommend switching from Humbrol paints to something more suited for painting minis, it has a tendency of clogging up the details.

Second the switch from humbrol. The acrylic dries so much faster and will help your pace. Congratulations on your little one! get him into a good sleep routine and you can use naps as painting time. I get 2-3 hours painting done every morning while my youngest sleeps. my eldest (4) has even started painting a blood angels army.

Keep up the good work

The humbrol and revell paints are a leftover from when I painted army models, made by the same companies. Tbh, I don't really have many problems with the paint (apart from the long drying period...).

Only the flesh colour paints are a pain in the *ss, they clog up to fast...

Thanks! Luckily his teething isn't causing any problems
We did get him into a good sleeping routine, so I'm able to get some work done in the evening, pictures to follow soon :)

You have to post pictures of his army (or her?)

Cheers!

Really greta freehand on the banner mate, i woudl however put a wash over you metals and gold, and then perhaps a few more highlights.
