I really like the gold/yellow highlights on the purple cloaks, those look SHARP.

I may have to steal that for some of my Hero choices I like it so much. Nice start to your army.

Your warriors would look a good deal better if you removed the mould lines, IMO they ruin the models.

Your army is looking pretty nice, I like the color scheme and second on removing the mould lines, sometimes I forgot about them and they really can ruin a good model and paintjob.

Dear Folks

I note some of you aren't to keen on the oils. To be honest I love my Humbrol and Testors (Model Master) and don't experience any problems with them at all. While I do use GW acrylics I find that they tend to be very a flat matt where the oils are richer in colour, especially if I want a glossy effect. I aknowlege that drying time is significantly longer but, given the speed I paint and the number of figures I have on the go at any one time it dosen't really worry me.

There is also the other fact that the oils of these companies are much cheaper then GWs stuff too!!!

Ps Darth, a close up of the paint job on your reaper conversion would be appreciated?

@ I'll post a close-up of the reaper mini as soon as I figure out how to do it properly lol

And I agree 100% with you on the oil paints. They are indeed way richer as some of my warhammering friends have already said to me. And the drying time is not a problem if you paint several mini's at once instead of just one.

Below some pics of WIP :)

I got 5 of these. One picture is a bit flashier to better show the red I used.

And my first Champion of Khorne :)

His armour is mainly Crimson (?) red, but I tried to change it to purple on the lower parts of it (eg his knee) and on his shield.

I'm rather happy with the result.

And my very own Hellcannon :)

Still needs to be painted and my greenstuff skills are ... well ... non-existant but I'm happy with the result
