Warrior of the Chamber
Greetings. Ive been thinking about joining a tournament that is coming up in about a month or so. Having had my WoC for far too long without giving them as much paint as they deserve I see this as a chance to give them their finishing touches.

The tournament will have certain restriktions wich are as follows, no more than:
1999 Points
No Special/Named characters.
40 shots
3 skirmishers
2 chariots
2 Fast cav
3 warmachines
No double special choices, special mounts counts as a slot as well (a steg or chariot takes up a special slot as well for example)
2 Flyers (characters/units)
1 Large target
6 powerdice per magic phase
7 dispel dice (1st scroll is one dice, other scrolls are 2 dice wich are accounted for in each phase)

Then there are further restrictions specific to each army. I will only mention the WoC ones:
Steed of Slaanesh counts as flying
Mounted characters with better than a 5+ward counts as an additional hero slot
3rd warhound counts as fast cav

So... with that in mind I have been starting to tinker with a list I would like to play. Here´s a draft for the army.

Nurgle Sorcerer:
lvl 2, Blood of Tzeentch, Enchanted Shield

Nurgle Sorcerer:
lvl 1, Bloodskull Pendant

Tzeentch Sorcerer:
lvl 1, Disc, Collar of Khorne, Scroll, Roar

2x5 Warhounds
5 Slaanesh Horsemen:
Musician, Throwing Axes
20 Slaanesh Marauders:
Light armour, shield, Standard, Musician
14 Slaanesh Warriors:
FC, Shield, Raptorus

5 Nurgle Knights:
Standard Musician
3 Dragon Ogres:
Great weapon
3 Trolls

Slaanesh Giant

It all comes down to 1998pts. I have some opinions about it myself. I would like a bsb and could easily get up to 6PD without a sorc but 1 flickering + 2 Bubboues sounds fun. I´m also a little bit uncertain about the trolls, could go for a chariot here instead. Hopefully I can pull of some pictures while I´m painting so this will be more like a diary of sorts, and maybe some battle reports as well when I´m testing the list.

Regards

My only suggestion is throw some halberds on those warriors. I'd swap out the gear of the Nurgle Sorcerer on foot with the one the disk. The guy on the disk needs all the armor save he can get, the magic res of the Sorcerer on foot will help out the unit he joins, rather then just himself. Maybe drop the roar so you can afford them halberds.

Thanks for the reply Kraytirous! I tinkered some more on the list and here´s what I came up with:

I gave the Tzeentch Sorc Enhanted shield, Talisman of Protection and kept the Roar. The lvl 2 Nurgle was given a Scroll and steed. That gave me the extra points for Halberds and a champion for the marauderblock. Better? Any other sugestions. Came down to 1996pts total.

Champions are over priced for what they do, being merely one attack for almost the price of an entire member of the unit. Especially on Warriors.

The way I see it, you're going to have six power dice.

Two dice per buboes, meaning four spent.

Whatever secondary spell the lvl 2 nurgle wizard got is gonna want another 2 (if not 3), leaving you with none for the poor Tzeentch wizard.

In my opinion, get yourself a power familiar on that Tzeentch wizard.

The champions will mostly be bodyguards for the Sorcerers. Taking challenges and such.

6 power dice is the cap I can use each turn. THe way I see it, if I don´t cast 2 Buboes + Flickering on 2 dice each I can cast flickering with just one dice and then the lvl 2 can cast his spell on 3 PD instead of casting his Buboes.
