I have been using Warriors with shield and the MOT. In close combat the MOT gives a 6+ ward save, and the shield gives a parry bonus. I believed these stacked to a 5+ward save in close combat. My opponent stated that they do not stack, and it was a 6+ 6+ that I would save with. Therefor only one ward save. I tried to disprove him, but could find nothing in the BRB or the WOC book showing they saves would stack. Could someone reference a page number for my argument, or I am incorrect. |

BRB Pg 88 If a Warrior is fighting with a Hand Weapon and Shield, then he has a 6+ Ward Save WoC pg 110 Mark of Tzeentch "If the model has a Ward save from another source then that ward save is instead increased by 1" Ward Saves do not normally stack the Mark of Tzeentch is a special case. |
